Me Seeing Color thanks to Enchroma Glasses

Hey everyone i wanted to post a personal video of me seeing COLOR for the first time EVER, I was diagnosed at 5 as TOTALLY COLORBLIND and it`s been a struggle all my life so my Aunt bought me a pair and this is my honest reaction, My Aunt bought the glasses and i`m showing my genuine reaction. I only wish my Mom had lived long to see this day and be here for this but i know she was looking down smiling #enchroma

The recipients of these glasses, being brought to tears, remind us just how much many of us take for granted. I envy these people for the sheer joy they're going to experience the first time seeing a sunset.

You do realize enchroma glasses are just filters that shift the colourspectrum slightly one way or the other?
If you are truly fully colourblind it just moves the colours from one side of the colourblind spectrum to another side of your spectrum where you are also colourblind.
And even for people that aren't fully colourblind studies have shown that enchroma and other glasses like this do not work, all they do is shift orange to red for example (and at the same time make everything else look more red as well).
