Scammers.
@@richcheckmaker9789 Absolutely agree. Even if they are somehow not sponsored, the guy's reaction is completely overblown and gives the impression that the glasses make colorblind individuals see normally. Bull. Shit. All the criticism is completely warranted. If you don't want people calling you out, don't fake reactions for views.

The scientist and research needed that made this possible is good.
The variety of greens and reds always gets people. I remember one video where the guy was enthralled with the range of reds in bricks. They were at this beautiful garden and everyone was directing him toward the flowers, and he was like, "BUT THE BRICKS!" Such fun to watch. Thank you for sharing this moment with us!
YES, Kyuho said the reds are what really threw him. When he’s wearing the glasses and we’re just out for a walk in Seoul, he’ll suddenly stop, gasp and ask, “Is that shop sign red?? It’s so red!” He said before it just looked like a dull, brownish red.
How does someone who never saw the color red, know how the color red looks like tho? COme on, this shit is fake and it has been already proven multiple times.
Too bad 99% of these videos have been proven fake... lol
@@moe282
I dare you to prove that 99% of the videos have been proven fake. Do so without resorting to quoting the color blind guy who was charging people to color correct their videos.
Poor guy was overwhelmed and flabbergasted. I can't imagine how hard it is for your brain to deal with such a sudden influx to your senses.
Sara literally brought colors into Kyuho's life.
LOL 😂 yes and probably be able to tell what color food vegetables and fruit 🍓🍑 he can find appealing and being able to peel a beautiful yellow banana 🍌 and orange 🍊 and strawberry 🍓 . So glad it finally worked out. I used brown color lens Blue Blockers from Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, Missouri for driving and bass fishing to cutting off sun glares and yellow lenses for night time driving cutting off headlights beam glares ,They are called " Cocoon," and they are different sizes and I have one is fit-over regular glasses 🤓🕶️ I can see different types of fish 🐠🐟 in the lake and river and creek . And no I'm not color blind . Just regular nearsighted with bifocals .
I had no idea how much being colour blind affects a person, I was quite taken aback by how moved he was to see certain colours for the first time. He was completely speechless when he put them on. I've never seen him cry before so I had to admit I teared up when he cried and looked at the sky 😢 And sth about the line "I always thought purple would be darker" made me tear up even more 😭😭😭I have to say though, I wish we all looked at world the way Kyuho did at 8:33, it's so pure like seeing the world for the first time 💔
It was super unexpected for both of us 🥺 We thought if they worked, there would be a so-so improvement-but he could distinguish SO many colors and color differences he never could have pointed out before.
@@2hearts1seoul That's honestly so lovely. Something that most of us take for granted, he's experiencing for the first time.
me too, I can't imagine myself not seeing these wonderful colors 😭
@@2hearts1seoul stop with this obvious lies. its embarassing.
@@gonzo2495
Stop accusing strangers of lies.
Tell me how you came to your conclusion without quoting a guy who knew he was colorblind at 21, and charged folks to color correct videos.
Colorblindness-correcting glasses will not change color perception for people whose deficiency is caused by a complete absence of red or green photoreceptors. And the positive effects of the glasses last only as long as they are being worn. The glasses don't in any way modify a person's photoreceptors, optic nerves or visual cortex to fix colorblindness.
"Color perception requires a complete set of optimally functioning equipment, and glasses will not replace or repair missing or broken mechanisms," says Dr. Schwab.
It actually says on the Enchroma website that it will not cure your colorblindness, and that it will not help folks who are missing cones.
From where you got your quote:
"Eyeglasses cannot alter the fundamental biology of the cones responsible for color perception, although there are glasses that *can make it easier for people to tell colors apart*. Still, because there are different CVD types, for some individuals, these glasses will not do anything."
His reaction is so sweet and pure, I teared up!

@@2hearts1seoul I work as an Optician and sell these lenses. They help some people more than others. I just sold a set of these lenses to a young man who wants to see the leaves change color in the fall 🥺❤️ It was so emotional when he came in with his fiance to try them on. He looked at her purse and said "it's SO RED" Haha! I'M SO excited for him to see the leaves change colour! 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
Yes and the story about how they came about is just as amazing. They were originally for minors and one day one of the minors was just taken aback at all the different greens he was seeing.
@@nolimitkk2715 Do you mean miners? Like, coal miners? I can't figure out why anyone would make them for minors (that is, young people who are not legally adults).

When Kyuho got really quiet, I was ready to cry. But then he looked up to the sky and started sobbing and I definitely cried with him. We take things like these for granted, but for him it's something he never had and felt he was missing on.
So glad the glasses worked for him, I hope you guys can rediscover the world together in the future.
I know. Now I need to go admire the sky. I usually do. But now I want to do it every day.
I hope this company sees this and is happy at the changes they are making for others. Color is something we take for granted until it’s darken then we’ll realize what we’ve missed out on. I wish nothing but the best and honestly glad CZcams recommended me this channel.
I'm usually pessimistic about products being about the money, not sure how expensive these are but they're clearly very valuable to people so I'm with you on the company seeing that's it's more than just a product
I guess the technology is fairly new hence the prices, let's hope they can reduce costs so more people get access to them. For instance I underwent Lasik surgery to correct myopia and astigmatism and the first time I went to the beach without glasses I felt so safe and comfty, the price of the surgery I think was fair, not too expensive.
@@caixiuying8901 They are around 300-400$ each, which is not much more expensive than some normal glasses.

The moment he went silent and looked up at the sky in amazement, I knew it worked and I started crying. This was such a beautiful moment. So happy for you Kyuho I wish you a bright and colourful future.
I was ready to cry just moments after Kyuho had worn the glasses. I just knew from his reaction that I have never seen before that it worked. When he expressed his feeling about missing out I knew it because that's what I felt when Sarah explained much earlier on this channel about colour blindness. At the time I think I felt like oh I did not realise that there are different types of colour blindness and that how much they would feel they missed out if they can see what we can.
I cried with you guys and this was so raw and emotional but I am so happy that it did work. Kyuho looked like an innocent child seeing things for the first time. Such a precious feeling. I am so thankful for all the blessings that I have, sometimes we take thins for granted.

The joy of colour! Every student in schools should see this to appreciate what a gift it is to see the beautiful colours in our world! Thank you for sharing.
My Dad was red-green color blind and he passed before Enchroma came out. My comfort is that he is in heaven and whole now. It is truly a visceral experience! We miss so much when we can't smell or see color.
Its fake. Glasses cant fix colorblindness. The parts of the eye that detect certain color(s) are missing or altered/damaged in colorblindness.
And these glasses wont fix that any more than than putting glasses a blind person with no eyes at all will allow them to see.
It might change the perception of the colors the colorblind person *can* see, but nothing will give them the ability to see the colors their eyes *cant* see.
I've had a huge smile on my face the whole time watching this. How pure and precious and innocent. What a crazy experience it must be to experience these things for the first time. We get used to color but I don't take it for granted because I'm a person who hates winter for its darkness and colorlessness, so each time spring comes is amazing. To imagine that some people live a lifetime of winter, when it comes to color...what a great gift these glasses are for them.

It was also faked
@@NovaMaster375
You guys are so universally easily fooled. Nova; tell us in your own words why you think its fake?
@@johnabbottphotography These glasses have been tested by multiple individuals, with and without color blindness, and have been shown to be little more than tinted lenses. They may "enhance" a single wavelength of light, but serve little to actually "correct color blindness" as they claim. These glasses can only "work" on people with 'mild' color blindness; ie red/green.
As everyone should be aware, color vision is possible thru 3 colored 'cones' in the backs of our eyes. Color blindness is caused by damage to one or more of these light receptors, whether as a birth defect or thru some event later in life. This damage can only be reversed by extensive surgery or a total eye transplant.
Understanding that, one should be able to figure why a pair of glasses that just serve to limit what wavelengths of light enter the eye, would be unable to "correct" color blindness.
They are, quite literally in some cases, "rose-tinted glasses"

Isn’t it amazing the beauty around us that we take for granted, and when people like this, see it for the first time, it lets us really realize how much we take for granted!
It’s definitely taken for granted 🥹
Awwwe I'm so happy for Kyuho! I remember when I first put on my glasses when I was 10 and realized the whole world wasn't supposed to be blurry! LOL I never could read the black board in class ever since kindergarten and when I started wearing glasses, it truly was a game changer.
Same here! Everything was blurry to me for years until I started wearing glasses at 15
I am crying my head off. I am so happy for you Kyuho. Your reaction. I never seen anything like that before. To go your whole life and not experience the wonder and beauty of colour. And then one day you can and do. I can only imagine how mind blowing it would be. And Sarah, the support that you give. The love you give each other. Thank you for sharing.
It is so good to see such an uplifting video. I'm so happy for this young man.
새로운 캐나다의 모습을 눈으로 담으셨군요.
저도 다 눈물이 났네요.
