For sure I would the Lowrider is sharp with that fairing they used but I still wished they still used the Dyna oh well they didn’t but that bag is going to get HOT
@MotoBlonde thank you so much for sharing this. I've been looking at the LR ST but the stock bag's are hot garbage as one person said. I have a 2013 RG ultra. Do you know if you can install a radio on the LR ST? That would make my mind up if I can install a BT radio on the LR ST.

Having the option to change to those touring bags is a game changer. I would definitely change the stock ones to those bags. It makes the bike look better. Great video and nice bike.
I have a Sport Glide with those clamshell bags. I got the soft HD luggage inserts for them so I can jam all the things in the bags and then they just slide in the clamshells. So nice for travelling too - just grab the handles and all my stuff gets transferred into the hotel room :)
It is incredible how much more you can fit in those bags when you use the liners you’re mentioning. AND you can still carry some stuff outside them - I for example keep some tools and rain suit outside them and it all fits just fine

I just bought the Hogworkz version of the saddlebags for my 18 FLSB. Had the tourpack for a while and love it. Just waiting for a couple tools to remove my passenger footpegs
To me that is how the LR ST should have came from the factory. Another thing to consider is if a clamshell bag fails all your stuff will fall out. A top loading bag things could fly out if they're light but still more secure. I won't say how hot it is in tampa but I seen 2 Hobbits toss a ring in a backyard...🤣🤣🤣. Good vid

I have a Softail Standard, and I want to make it a little bit better for longer distance, so I've decided to add some Low Rider bits, and then I saw these bags and it's a game changer. The bags look great, you earned the sub for sure!

You do you girl! Totally agree that the bigger bags are a must. Plus being inseam challenged myself I am looking at trading in my Street Glide on a lowrider ST. Will never part with my softail slim but the Lowrider ST will probably fit me for touring. Bigger bags look better and are more functional...

Back in the old days if it didn't fit on the bike - you didn't need it. But in today's world god forbid if you forgot the hair dryer..lol The Advanblack bags look great but I will stick with my st side bags for the time being. I will be ordering the tail bags to add on my st. Great video and information.

I joined the Adam Sandoval Convoy .. on my Metric bike .. Some dude with a Harley at the Ft Wayne Dealership had a loose passenger Peg which also held on his brackets for his side case..
He kept loosing a circlip .. Needed a big Allen wrench .. My Metric Allen Wrench was close enough is size to tighten the bolt back up .
Always use Loctite on all bolts and screws on Harley's . or they will vibrate lose for sure.
I like the new bags on your bike. They look great! My 5000 mile service is coming up on my Streetglide if you're not busy. Lol

Thing i dont like about the clam shell bags vs the road glide bags is the clam shell latch is harder to work and can sometimes come undone. Road glide bags just make more sense by design. Regardless of available space
Does the exhaust burn the bags with it being that close I recently got the same saddlebags and exhaust I have yet to install the bags and exhaust on my 2022 FXLRS
Funny...my wife runs a Sportglide (she's a shorty too 5'2") and she hated those clam shell bags. So we built/fab'd a set of brackets & installed the "proper" hard bags on her bike. Would have been a little easier, had these brackets been available back then. Anyway...Bike looks great now (yours & hers lol)

Such an Improvement I think , Advan Black doing some really great aftermarket products now . I could Really do with 2 of those Saddlebags RIGHT NOW (Gauntlet Grey) , I hit a 40 kilo Kangaroo 3 weeks ago on my Sportglide and the Left Hand Side Outer and Inner are Wrecked an the Right Hand Side Outer is needing a bit of putty and jam too. But now I am probably going to be forced to buy my own Repairable Write Off back for some Ridiculously Stupid and Low amount from the Settlement Payment ,Yeah GOOD ONYA (My INSURANCE COMPANY) . Thanks for taking nearly 2 years of my Fully COMPREHENSIVE Insurance Policy Premium Payments ....Yeah Thanks A F*#@ing Lot , The Bike only hit a Kangaroo and slid down the road 30mtrs it's Not a Big Ask to just Get Parts to Fix ya Know.
does the chopped tour pack fit on the ST with theses bags?
Okay, I'm new here and I don't know what you have and have not tried. So...
Ciro 3D makes 60L waterproof bags, both vertical and horizontal.
With a sissy bar added, you could easily have one vertical bag or two stacked horizontal bags on the passenger seat.
Or with your tour pack, you could have a horizontal bag, if you added a luggage rack, and a vertical bag on the passenger seat.
This would give you plenty of storage for camera equipment and clothes, I would think.
Just an idea if you haven't thought of it yet. Hope it helps.

I have a 18 SportGlide. They’re very similar bags other than being not as different in sizes between the two. Just bought the Hogworkz version of the same thing. Only thing that worried me is that AB said theirs only fit the LR/LRS/LRST and the Street Bob. Hogworkz says theirs fits everything except the Standard and the SportGlide for… reasons?
Now just waiting on long torx bit sockets from Amazon to show up so I can get them on the bike.
I love my AB tourpack and their customer service has been second to none. I’ve had issues with it coming open on me and they’ve sent me 2 different latches and an entirely new tourpack, thinking the plastic may had cracked. On top of that, I saw them in Sturgis and I think they finally figured out the issue
Hi, really like your videos, most current your one on changes to better bags. I see you are going to replace the tail light. Please don't, I had that one a beautiful lowrider and had alot of complaints from drivers they could not see the signals or the brake light when I was riding. Just my opinion I wanted to share. yes I would get the bags that you got did you have to talk to Advanblack to have them custom made for you? They are not on the web site just looked. Because I would change my exhaust to get those bags no problem.

I get your need for more luggage space, but the bags look disproportionate to the bike. It doesn’t look horrible, but they look a little too big for the bike IMO. Function over form so I get it. Glad you like it and that’s all that matters.
I will only use Leatherpros on my motorcycles. Just way too much storage space with them compared to the hard bags.
They have everyone beat with storage space for sure!

Hey Vic! Right now I just carry them in the cloth sleeve that came with them from Ruroc.

Did a very similar setup to yours... running nasty hog chopped bags and I put touring LED strip lighting under the covers as well. Wiring was a bitch tho... had to buy a 2013 to 2014+ touring wiring conversion kit bc the leds run off of the modern touring connector and the softail uses Harley's older wiring bcm...

@@MotoBlonde no complaints! They look sharp! I made the mistake of ordering them without hardware tho… forgot to click that button 😂 installing the entire locking/hinge mechanism wasn’t fun. I think they offer them with hardware installed now 🤷♂️

Ahhh so the only way to go this route is to go 2/1 pipes ok i can do that!! but then I also noticed you can't take the bags off instantly. ughhh and i absolutely hate the clam bags!!
if you are concerned about visibility of lights the harley OEM turn signals and lights gives a better awareness to the truck behind your bike. there is a scientific reason behind OEM specs approved . even the straight number plate is faster noticed than those curved slanted plates . All these third party companies do not have the knowledge of safety requirements.

I like the lining, but I think I’ll skip since I want every square inch of storage I can get. Now I just need to figure out what turn signal solution to go with then I’ll take the plunge. I just bought my ‘23 LRS two weeks ago. Did alarm module, mustache crash guards, and full system 2 into 1. LOVING the bike 😊
If Avenblacks light strip can be done without wires showing anywhere on the bags that’s the way I’ll go.
