      did. An upgraded Head gasket for the MG I never had a problem with my KV6

    Has to be the ZR, still looks good so many years on. The Clio looks dull, the civic seats will make you ache

    Straight away if i had a choice between them it would be the Civic. I'm a Honda fan so no second thoughts their. The Clio is nice as I have in fact drove a 172 a few years back and maybe it was brilliant or everyone else was sulking but it was great. We had in the family for id say about 5 years and zero issues. Only down point about the Clio is that I think the steering wheel is huge like i dunno for small car it doesn't feel right. And for the MG im not sure. I don't know much about them really. I always liked the look of the ZR its not ugly but I dunno they've never really "won me over" with them. I'm sure their a fun car but due to no experience im not going to judge it and call it shit

    It's a shame these Car review people put the Mg brand down . But then also BMW could have done more to revive the brand rather than leave them polish up with the parts bin , like who'd of thought that you would take Skoda as a very nice car these days .

    Oh bullshit, the MG is so much more sporty than the damn Clio. Its just that this video was taken at a moment where MG Rover was regarded crap and nothing special. If you own a good ZR 160 in continental Europe these days, everyone stares at you because they're so rare. I'm going to buy one. Its definitely hotter a hatch than my current Peugeot 206 GTi (which has 136 hp from a 2.0 16v)

    The fact that there are still people arguing which one of these fwd lawnmowers is better 😂 you can buy a six cylinder BMW for less than these and blow them out of the water in every single way while getting similar fuel economy... 5000€ for an E39 530i with mpacket or 8000€ + for one of those... things.

    Should have tested it with a MG ZS 180, same on power but would have won. The british motoring press always put down MG. Maybe they were getting a nice bung ….??? I have driven all 3 Civic was a great car but the ZR was not a million miles behind it. Put a ZS 180 vs a Civic and the ZS would win hands down with its handling and its liner power delivery. By the way its got Honda underpinnings !!

    • @velkovskinikola2
      @velkovskinikola2 Před rokem

      It is basically the previous generation Civic with a V6. Very interesting and good looking car, much better looking than the Honda. Anyhow just on account of the parts availability outside of Britain, and the two crash test videos I saw yesterday - one of 1998 Civic ( the MG ZS) and one of a 2001 I would go for the Honda without even driving them first.

      Matt Howlett You could get some better gaskets for the Head. The Engine itself weren’t the problem . VVC loves a Revving it is basically Rovers reversed engineered Honda engine. After all. I once owned the MGZS 180 2.5 V6 it Handles very well and was quick too. Equally for a V6 it Loved a Good thrashing it’s thank you for it after and Ask for More . Sadly I didn’t know much about Lift off oversteer then 😱👮‍♂️👮‍♂️ oh dear .

      I have a victor riemz multi layer i changed it wen i got the car at 97k it's now done 147k all its ever had is lots of tyres front and rear pads cam belt water pump rad kmap remap which isn't a good move unless you like 15mpg and maybe a few oil changes and runs better than new
