I wish all world championship tournaments would also be played in NHL-size rink! I mean its more interesting game when there's not so much time and space to do things and it gets really intensive!
This world cup was "designed" for Canada and USA to meet in final game. Finland came and disturbed the "design". Unfortunately we couldn't disturb the organizers goal to the end. Canada won.
Yes in northern states (Minnesota, Michigan etc.) but NBA, MLB and AFL are much more popular. In southern states there are Nascar driving etc. I'm from Finland
of course. USA is a big country. You have much more wider player availability. Still we have done it well. 2 world championships and many other medals, but the grand one is still missing. The Olympic Gold. We will get it some day. Maybe Sotshi 2014.

Canada have most icehockey players in the world. Still they lost Russia and amazingly 1980 olympic final to USA. Canada have most of the medals ever given to one coluntry.
