The ending gave me chills when I first saw it, Morty outsmarting Ricks.
If you caught what his Rick was doing, he was draining the intelligence from the Ricks. Being controlled means he wasn't doing it for himself, but for the Morty. So how long, and how many Ricks did he drain? With the number of Mortys just on the outside, plus the ones still in the little prison, that is an awful lot of Ricks he downloaded into his mind. A Morty with the intelligence of a hundred Ricks at least, and exactly how many Ricks would suspect him?

I like the idea that Doofus Rick is emotionally intelligent rather than scientifically intelligent. Like yeah, he's still a scientific genius, but some of that genius was siphoned off into emotional intelligence making him a "dumb" Rick.

4:52 it's only for a brief second but you can see Stan's pen, notepad, and coffee mug come out through one of the portals, it's the same item he lost the Society of the Blind Eye epsiode of Gravity Falls

The end when Rick was offered a Morty replacement voucher, hints that our current Morty might not be our original Morty.

It would go without saying that the Rickest Rick would have...the Rickest Morty
Beth told, that Rick left her for 20 years. And in flashback of Rick we saw him with baby Morty (13-14 years ago), so that's a hint, that this Rick was with his family, and why he cried.
@@NuclearDragonTwitch we also know that this rick is the smartest and he is able to cheat everything even a scanner of his memories.
the fact that they switched reality before suggests that rick c137's current morty is not morty c137. otherwise why would morty just suddenly come back into the family... who is to say that is their real rick that came back to live with them... maybe he is a rick thats hiding or something. also there is an episode where it is heavily implied that jerry is not from dimension c137 which in turn gives evidence to that theory.
Ive always found it interesting that even now, 4 seasons in they have kept that clip of Rick and Morty running from aliens and Morty tripping and getting left behind by Rick. It has the oldest looking animation by far, but they keep it regardless. Its been my theory that this actually did happen and Rick left behind his original Morty and regretted it so much he skipped to another reality where the original Rick was dead and had been gone 20 years. That Morty survived and became Evil Morty.
In previous chapters they mention that Rick had been out of their lives for 20 years. If that's true, the Morty that appears in his memories shouldn't be the current Morty... the plot is somewhat hidden!

There's actually a Gravity Falls easter egg when they're running from the Council. When Rick creates a bunch of portals to cover their tracks, some items fall through one of the portals, and that comes from an episode in Gravity Falls.
Rick supposed wasn't around when Morty was a baby, very strange
with multidimensional travel, Rick can enter and re-enter the lives of whoever he wants. Even a different Morty and Beth's.

The Citadel of Ricks is a parody of The Interdimensional Council of Reeds, founded by all the Reed Richards of the multiverse in the Fantastic Four comics.
One thing I like about the explanation of Morty camouflage is that Rick basically tried to soften the blow to Morty's feelings when he first brought it up by saying "*ahem*...Morty waves" as if to try to avoid saying "idiot waves"
Season 4 when Jerry declares all he ever does is say “Hey”; that shit was so fucking funny.
"This is no time for an arc." Bwahahahahah! And yeah, remember there's an infinite number of Ricks and infinite number of Morty's so an infinite (yet smaller) number of Ricks die, and leave Mortys behind.

I've been wondering if the puppet Rick was entirely a robot, or if he's an actual Rick and all that stuff was put in his head to control him. I can never decide if all the red and pink we see is just wires, or if some of it is meant to be a human brain beneath all the wiring.

There a theory that gravity falls is in same universe as rick and morty but in diffrent universe. Wich it showed a easter egg of three objects coming out of a portal, and stans brother must knew who rick was in is adventure because of stuff he wrote in his journal.

You guys should take a look at a CZcams analysis vide called The Take by Screen Prism. They have truly insightful videos about great shows, Rick and Morty among them. When you have a Rick's knowledge of the everything, when you know how big the universe (or multiverse) is, you can feel so small and this just makes it so depressive and feels so miserable for most of the time and why people like Doofus Rick and Jerry don't suffer with this issue.
