    I have a 2022 AT4.A couple weeks ago had new tires and a 1.75 Rough Country level kit installed.Went with a 295/70R/18 tire with no trimming whatsoever.I did take off the mudflaps and in their place I had a kickback styled mudflap installed so as to protect my rocker panels from stone chipping and overspray from the tires on wet roads.There seemed to be this sweet spot where a person could either go with the taller tire and a hair skinnier like what you did or go for the hair wider and a hair less in height.I’d say overall GM designs a very appealing and stylish body design but coming from a 2018 GMC All Terrain where the wheel well had more allowance and I could fit in a true 35x12.50 tire,this new wheel well certainly posed some challenges when it came to researching and doing my homework for fitment without rubbing.Will be interesting to see if when GM redesigns their next generation of trucks if they keep the squared wheel well design or go to something that embraces more wiggle room for larger tires.

    Beautiful new truck! Love that color. I have a 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L) with 295/70 R18 tires (34.3" x 11.5" wide) with offset 0 wheels (.9" poke out to clear that upper A arm). I did have to do some trimming and also am running Bilstein front adjustable struts for an additional 1.4" of leveling. Zero rubbing. I got some vids on my channel if you wanna look-see.

    I recommend you still do a mud flap delete. You're going to have rubbing regardless. Plus if you intend to have a 1 inch poke... that rubbing will be more apparent.

      Using stock wheels you will have to do some trimming on the wheel well liner and the mud flap. I would say probably up to an inch of the inside of the mud flap. Liner I cannot remember how much I cut off of it for stock wheels but it wasn't dramatic

    • @WICKEDAUTO1
      @WICKEDAUTO1  Před rokem +1

      Not without cutting a lot and still rubbing with pushing them out that far. Even with a level you'd still have to trim the steel mud flap mount unless you go with a skinny 35in tall tire. Then possibly

    • @joshraines
      @joshraines Před rokem

      Maybe I stick with 34s instead. I really like the stock rims, so don't see a need to change them, but I would prefer to push them out a bit. Perhaps 34s with the 1.5" spacers and a 1.5" front level will do the trick.
