I’m extremely picky with impeccable taste in trucks😳. I just started searching for lift/tires/wheels combo before I buy an AT4. Don’t have to look anymore. That thing’s perfect!
I got the slt in the same color and put it 2.5” in the front and 2” in the rear. Took the steps off too first thing. It’s a great truck. Traded my 3500 Denali in for it. It had 20k in equity....
Love the way it looks. Mpg is amazing with the duramax. If I had one I would do everything you did. Only thing I would have changed is got it in white.
Your truck might’ve been the deciding factor of what my next vehicle is. Bad ass truck man
You got exactly what you wanted. I do have the 2021 at4 I have a sunroof and carbon bed. I also have my side steps since my Fiancé is giving birth to our daughter in under 2 months for us it was a must plus my son is going to turn 5 soon so the steps are a must. But we have a all black 3.0 with the carbon bed and kicker audio. After driving f250s and selling my f150 I must say for looks and comfort GMC has outdone themselves I’ve been driving f650s for work for close to 15 years and this one takes the Cake, granted truck prices are severely inflated at the moment i don’t have any buyers remorse. I just rolled over 5,700 miles I had one glitch with the truck so far and it was electrical only happening one time. Other than that I haven’t needed to do any warranty work the truck pulls strong. It’s crazy to think that this 3.0 has almost 40 percent more power than the older 7.3 in the fords, but hey that’s technology.
Your setup is perfect, even in the options you declined. Well done!
I second this. Perfect setup.
Yeah, 'til he adds more "poke". To each their own.
Nothing but love for this truck!
Thanks man!
This is the DREAM setup!! Thank you for sharing
Beautiful truck!! Wish I saw this sooner…. I had the leveling kit on mine without the new UCA’s and my entire wheel detached from the truck Friday. Broke the CV’s, UCA’s everything connected to the wheel.
Great looking truck!!! I just got a new GMC AT4 and keep adding improvements as well. Love it!
I just got my at4 3.0 last week and this right here is perfect! I definitely need that tint and ceramic but badass truck you have I love it 🔥
Badass truck bro! Just got my 2021, leveling it with the upper control arms because of your recommendation!
Congrats bro! how do you like it?
Absolutely PERFECT.
Selling my 535i and getting a lifted truck. This is one of the best ones I’ve ever seen.
Sweet truck congrats bro. Love that grey mettalic .
Great setup! Looking forward to more videos
Im going to post another one soon showing some off roading
Nice and clean. Looks good 👍.
Duuuude that’s badass nice setup
Love the truck. One day I will have a diesel AT4. Unmatched for looks, gas mileage, and reliability.
Looks really solid! Nice job. I got a 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L). Currently have excellent running 275/70 R18 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo3. At the time, I didn't know they made 295/70 R18 (about an inch taller). Love these tires...Load E range, A/T, quiet, mildly aggressive vs others. No highway groan.
Would you mind letting my know the lift you chose and how high? Leveling kit? Any lessons learned since you’ve modded your truck?
@@21AirDrop Glad to give you some insight. I didn't do a lift. All I did (front) was swap out front struts. The Ranchos suck (IMHO), I went with Bilstein 5100 front adjustable struts with 1.75" added front height. So, leveled the front (or really close). I also put 5100's shocks in the back. The ride is firmer and 10x more controlled. When you do struts up front, get an alignment and have all the bolts retorqued after 1,000 miles (any mechanic will tell you that). I had a clunk noise from the front when articulating the truck while steering...nothing significant...just a clunk now and then. I took it to a different shop...they retorqued everything and the problem never came back. The truck will do 95 mph STRAIGHT down the road with NO vibration or drift. It rides BETTER than new now esp with the Bridgestones. Go over to my CZcams channel and I got pictures/discussion: czcams.com/play/PLzPyOyIC4NzjbWOm8gpZaEVw39t9cOKm5.html
That's the exact truck I'm looking at now except it's a 22...same color ..beautiful truck!
That is one nice truck my man!
Truck looks awesome, blacked out exhaust tips would have an extra nice touch!
Wow amazing clean build. I’ve had 2 tundras and am disappointed with the new styling and body lines of the 2022 so am now looking at other full size trucks, appreciate the look. We’ll done 🤙
Stay with Toyota
Great looking truck. Agree on sunroof and steps. De-badge and tint are nice! I’m waiting for 2022 version and to see if GM solves the long crank issue. Did you consider the 285/70/18 ridge grapplers? Still 34” (33.98 vs your 34.29), .22” narrower, with slightly less load capacity but 9.5lbs lighter each. Love the method wheels. Always takes some experimentation to find the right offset and tire size that minimizes trimming and meets all your other requirements. I think the poke is perfect. I’m going to add a Diamondback bed cover, bed slide, Dometic fridge/freezer to the bed. Probably do a 2.5-3.0 suspension lift with king shocks and Icon upper control arms. Not sure what I’ll do for rear springs. I’ll see how much weight I end up adding. Cheers
His tire is a 295/70/17 which comes out to 33.31 per Nitto’s site. That’s a little surprising there is any rub at all with a 33” tire when the front is leveled with the rear. This is essentially a 3.5” lift on a standard Sierra/non AT4.
@@ElectricBlueIX his tires are 295/70/18. look at 2:35 on the video. He may have just misspoke when he said 17's
I agree with no sunroof options, it's a cleaner look. Great job on mods.
Badass truck man
Looks really nice
Just ordered my AT4X. Definitely liking the tire and wheel combination. Kind of wish I could have gotten the baby max, but it only comes with the 6.3. I think your truck is perfect as is so I will be referencing this for the wheel spacing and level. Nice truck
That 6 liter does wheelies!! Ordered mine with it too!
@@LegacyIndustrial1 It definitely hauls ass lol. With the 10 speed it feels great. Still wish I had the mileage of the baby max though!
Super clean
She's lookin' clean! That color with the black looks nice.
Compared to an 2021 elevation, would you have a total lift of 4 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear?
Do you have any more feedback on the ride now that you have put more mileage on it? Any issues? And how much trimming did you have to do?
Any comments on the ceramic coating?
How much did that cost?
Beautiful truck. I just ordered a 2022 diesel.
Hey, sweet truck! I have the exact truck in white. I have a question? I am running the same tire, 295,60r20 in ridge grappler 34inch, I am having an issue where when I switch lanes on the highway and there are groves in the middle of the lanes my truck catches them and feels like I have a ton of body roll. Wondering if that's the way it is or I am having issues with something else. I do have a level kit with upper control arms from ready lift. I think the issue is either with tires or the rancho shocks, your input would be great! I have the Hellwig front and rear swaybar on order and Beilstein front coil lower and rear shocks to hopefully remedy the issue. Other than that best truck ever! My last truck was 19 raptor fun but useless for a daily truck, this one hits all the marks. I also average 26-27 in highway and 21 city. One thing I did add was the s&b air intake. Helps with mpg I have a heavy foot and gain back 1mpg per after install.
Great video and narration but Tires appear optimized for OFFROAD, what if you go 80% Hwy and 20% of that is RAIN? What tire swap you do? Same rims?
gorgeous truck
Print or powder coating those HDMI/exhaust tips?
Nice setup
Nice lookin' truck, clean, yet makes a statement...
Same wheels I'm running on my 2002 GMC 2500HD with 35x12.50 Yokohama G003's...
Looks sick. Just got mine, gotta tint it first. Did you mention what level kit you installed?
Love your truck. Bought my 1st truck an 18 Tacoma but I can’t lie I wanted a dirtymax gmc
Great looking truck! good job! ......I just got my At4 and I like your set up. Did you get a 2" Rc lever on top of the 2" stock lift from GMC? so technically the truck is lifted 4" ?
Looks really good. Not over done on the lift or wheels/tires. And yes, correct, you cannot level up the AT4/Trail Boss without new UCAs. Guys are doing it anyway and regret it later for going on the cheap.
I have I 2021 gmc sierra 1500 slt and planing to go with 4inc lift kit and tires 34x12.2 - 44 offset what you think will have problems when turning.
I just ordered mine, the 22 model with a 2 inch lift from GM, did yours come with the 2 inch lift and then u put a leveling kit?? Or did u just put a leveling kit on it?? Thanks, truck looks awesome btw
exactly what I want!
Dude sic it’s perfect
Question
Did I just hear is that the sunroof would leak if you have one, thinking about getting this truck 6.2 in this color with sunroof.
Beautiful Truck
Just wanted to confirm if you put a 2” level on the front and rear? Or only front? Thanks
dang i love your truck.
You spoke about a tuner. Ever looks into the Pulsar LT? Love mine
great truck
I wouldn’t do anything else..that truck is perfect
That is a good looking truck
Clean Build
Very nice looking rig brother. I have a 2021 Chevy RST
Thanks brother for your video is very helpful 👌
Great looking truck! Thanks for the advice about sharp truck fender flaps gonna buy them now. Don't do my mistake, get yourself 2" spacers instead of 1.5. your going to have to trim your studs since they stick out too far if you go with anything smaller than 2"
clean truck man bet the payment is nice also lol i love the color
What payment? LOL
You verbally said 295 70 17 on the tires/wheels but list them as 18's. Which is it? Did you calibrate the speedo for the new tire sizes? Just wondering if your gas mileage is accurate, or not.
That’s good MPG, I’m on 35’s and city I’m getting 17. I have the BDS 1.5 DSC coilover lift, I also got hypetech to fix my speedometer.
What are you opinions on the coilover kit you have? I'm ordering a 2022 at4 with the 3.0. Did your tires rub much? If so, what did you have to trim?
@@daniel_grenke I really like the stance on it and rides really good. I did have to trim lightly on the front plastic part and removed the mud flaps. If I hit a hard bump going slow on a hard turn a wheel rub on top but barely.
@@daniel_grenke did you order the bds kit for your 3.0?
My truck won't get to me for another 4 to 6 months sadly. Factory orders have slowed to a crawl these days
I don’t want to do anything other than a leveler since it can just fit in the garage with the car and motorcycle. So if I level the truck I can’t just get away with that? I do want to put spacers on the tires as well along with the leveling kit. I don’t want to void any warrantied items.
Color is sweet!
What color is that? I am looking at getting a gmc duramax and am interested in seeing if any issues occur with this motor. I'll be waiting till late 22 so I can get a deal because there are no deals at the moment.
Fucking dope bro 👌🏼 love your setup !
That’s clean! I have a black one, but with carbon pro and sun roof, I’ve never had a sun roof leak on any of my 20+ cars I’ve owned with sunroof. That’s my first time hearing anyone say they leak.
The carbon Pro isn’t a gimmick but I get it’s not worth it to some to have it.
Imo sunroofs used to leak back when they started coming out which gave them a bad name that's been hard to shake. With new technology i would guess there's a very low percentage of leaking. Badass truck! I'm looking at it in either black or white. I just wish they didn't do the orange accents on the seats. It doesn't match anything
@@justinstrange1355 dude! I agree! The brown leather is what makes it short of perfect. If it was all black like the Denali and had a 10” screen it’d be perfect.
I still love it though.
It’s an amazing truck, fun to drive and comfy.
Looks amazing too.
Black is the best looking IMO but it’s hard to keep clean. Make sure to you ceramic coat it. It helps!
I agree on the sunroof comments.
what is the offset of the new wheels?
how did the 1.5” spacer’s work out?
Excellent looking
Thank you Alan
Man, I have a near new Tacoma and I’m seriously looking into one of these now.
Seriously go drive one, youll be even more sold
Nice truck! I just got the Trail Boss with the diesel motor and absolutely love it.
Wat mpg r u getting on it. I just ordered one
@@kamal98741 averaging 23. The best I’ve got on a trip was 27. I get around 550 miles per tank. Everything is stock on it.
@@FitForeGolf_ oh wow that’s great. U taken it off-road yet?
Wow 27 mpg highway that’s amazing
I’m trying to figure out how to get a total of 3-4inch lift for my at4. How does your CV angle look with that level kit?
CVs are fine
Does RC only make one style of control arms for the at4? Only ones I’m seeing on the website are for 3-3.5” of lift. Are these the ones you have? Just got a 2021, looking to level it out!
I’m running into the same issue
Truck looks great! Can you send me the link to the dress up mud flaps you got up front. I need some for mine. I took off the factory as they rubbed on my 35’s but those caps would be perfect to finish that trim off.
Just google sharp truck mud flap caps
Truck still feel quick with those wheels and tires? Tow at all?
Nice Job truck's Bad Ass! I have a 2021 AT4 as well. I ordered the 2" level kit a few days ago which does not include the control arms. After seeing this video I went back didn't see them on the Rough Country website? Curious if you got them from Rough Country or send me a part #? Thanks!
Nice F'in truck. I want an AT4 so bad weighting my options for the 2022 and if I want the 2500 over 1500. How about for match them fender flares. Light tint the tail light?
Ordered mine last week. No tech/safety packages to avoid 6 month waiting period for chips to be installed. Should be 2 months!
Bear..help me out whats the difference between 1500 and 2500 and 3500 and so on...looks g to buy one next month
I have a 2021 GMC sle double cab Iam going to put a 2.5 inch on the front of my truck because the back is higher than the front will I have to change the upper control arm the dealership going to do it if I supply the front 2.5 inch spacer
Brother, where did you find thaw 2in leveling kit with upper control arms. I went on the RC website and I can’t seem to find them. Would you happen to still have the link for that set up?
The duramax has dual flat exhaust tips??
Any Idea if you can clear 6'8" height getting into a parking garage?
would 35" tires on 20 inch wheels rub on my 2016 Gmc sierra 4x4? my height looks lifted similar yo ur wheelbases too...🤔
Nice looking truck , not able to find the method wheels with -12 offset as you mentioned in the description , only 0 offset .
There's a shortage right now, try eBay thats where I ordered them from.
Nice video1 how much is that kit? I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado duramax 1500 LTZ.
which leveling kit can not find rough country with control arms model number would help
If i didn't know any better, i'd say that is mt timpanogos in the background. Sweet looking truck btw.
You are correct my friend, I am from Orem
hey man im looking to buy the rough country leveing kit but it says it doesn’t fit the at4 so im kind confused
I have a 2023 Denali 1500 I’m looking at 34x22” truck shop told me there is some trimming needs to happen I have a 4” lift
Man I just bought my wheel tire set up hopefully mines doesn’t look to different lol going to run fuel ammo in the blue color 17x9 with nitto ridge grappler 33x12.5 what’s your thoughts on my set up? Should I return my tires to get and opt for the 34’s instead of 33’s
I’m also doing the cognito 3 inch leveling lift kit
295 70R17 Nitto Tire on a 18x9 method wheel. Magic pure Magic. Lol Looks super clean nice truck.
My bad, correct specs are in the description if you know how to read you should check it out
@@zobernuts Lol, I read and pay attention to detail.
Very nice!
17” tires on 18” wheels? I know, just playing. Nice truck. Need to spray your tips. I did mine in my driveway with them on the truck.
how do you like early gen 3.0L duramax?
What do you/he mean by telling the dealership to just put on the wheels? Did he upgrade at the dealer? I never knew you could upgrade wheels at a dealer!!! Is this advantageous vs going to a wheel/tire shop?
How did u recalibrate for tires? Im running 34.5 tall on denali and no way can get 27mpgs unless i did 45mph on the highway but i do avg. Around 20 around town
@jrome m he is running 295s so you are talking 31-32" tall tires. My 315s are 35" and heavy but my Cummins know they are there. What lift did you go with to run 34s on your gmc?
2.5 level. He said he's running 34s or 305s. Mine are 285 70 22 which are 34.5
great looking truck .. can you put 35 inch tires with that lift and same size wheels
Yes, if you don’t have a negative offset
Great looking truck man. I have a stock trailboss with 5.3 looking to get mine looking similar to how yours does.
Do you have the part number for the UCAs? Thanks
Nice truck...
