I did essentially the same set up last year on my 21 TB. My only difference is that I used the stock 18â TB wheels whit look surprisingly good with the 35s.
I didnât have any rubbing on the front of the fronts. I have lived with the same minor rubbing (at >3/4 lock) on that bracket. I always assumed that it was welded on. The next nice day Iâm pulling the liners and removing those brackets

Good neighbors are a blessing! Was doing a projector retrofit in my 14 Sierra late Saturday night and the kit I bought screwed me out of the nylon M4 nuts I needed for the projector bracket. Within 5 minutes I had them hand-delivered from my awesome neighbor who had what I needed!

Thank you. I did this on my 22 trail boss. It has factory wheels 2 inch spacers and 35 inch tires. Works perfectly. Didn't even have to level it.

Are the factory wheels 18" or 20"? I got a 23 LT Trailboss with the 20's and would like to throw 35's on it but Idk if they'll fit?

Just became a Trailboss owner myself like the build definitely subscribing.
35s cleared on my 19 Silverado Z71 with just a level kit. No rubbing. May not work for an RST or something without the Z71 package. I think Z71 is a 1.5" lift over the base and you TB guys have a 2.5" lift with the 1" taller and 10mm wider tires, as my stock tires were 265/65R18s to your 275/65/R18s.
Why would it matter if the OEM tire was a 265 or a 275???
@@edleifer6719 because the 65 is s percentage of the width. It's 65% of 265-275mm. That's 6.5mm difference in height

Nice truck! Watching your channel is the reason Lasfit bulbs for my 21 Silverado. Love them.
When doing rotational mass, the dead weight is roughly 130 pound difference. But It is actually heavier than that because rotational mass is harder to spin than sprung weight. It depends where you get your numbers from to get an exact number. I have seen 3 times as much, for every 1 pound is really 8, and i've also seen 4 times as much. So if you took 3 times as much, your truck is now spinning almost an extra 400 pounds. Opened my eyes when I saw my MPG get absolutely killed

As a former Silverado owner, 35s are massive. When I upgraded to a smaller vehicle, my question of the day is do I do 38s or 40s lol. These big trucks just canât figure out wheel wells.

That -33 offset must make a big difference. I have an RST/Z71 with a 4" lift. 35x12.5/20R with a 0 offset rubs at full lock, even after all the modifications in this video. Not a huge deal, just have to be mindful off it.
Did u have to have spacers on the hubs?
Howâs the drive on the 35s ? Are they pretty heavy on the drive?

What are the pros and cons of buying a trail boss and lifting it versus buying a non-trail boss and lifting it to the same height (other than the chrome delete)?
Well, trail boss and Z71 have 4-low and almost every other 4th gen 1500 doesn't. Annoys the hell out of me with my LT.

Ever thought of putting the new style tow mirrors on the truck? I think with the wider wheels and tires the bigger tow mirrors give it a wider and also more functional appearance. Also love the vids, Trucks looking great so far đ
just an FYI those wider tow mirrors eliminate your truck being parked in a single car garage or any double or triple car garage with single garage doors.

I have a 2015 Silverado with 22x12âs and 37x13.50. I have a 8âbds lift, and I rubbed, so I got lift struts and now Iâm at 10â lift and donât rub at all.
