Freddie's vocal is from Wembley 86 (the same you did Love of My Life), and Bowie's from the Freddy Mercury Tribute concert (the first time he performed this song live). And the audio is the orginal studio version (1982)
Original recording 1981, put on the album in 1982, but well said for pointing out the differences. I think this is a really well made fan video, with both live performances just 6 years apart - Queen 1986 and Bowie 1992 - both at Wembley - and it really does look like they are on stage together. Just a shame they didn't ever perform it live on stage together. Live Aid 1985 would have been an ideal opportunity!
John Decon came up with the bassline warming up backstage for a show. The others said "keep that, we'll make something with it." They sued Vanilla Ice over it and won.
Queens bass guitarist John Deacon was not amused that Ice had sampled his rift, so Queen decided to take Ice to court, but eventually Ice settled out of court for a estimated 4 million dollars, checkout Queen live at Wembley Stadium 1986 with the song Under Pressure, the live has a epic build up and Freddie has the crowd in the palm of his hand, great reaction thanks 🙏

Under Pressure" was written and recorded by Queen and David Bowie. Originally released as a single in October 1981, it was later included on Queen's 1982 album Hot Space. This is a video mashup of two different performances, but the studio version is recorded together.
The footage of Bowie is from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. Annie Lennox of the Eurythmics sang Freddie’s part. I don’t think David and Freddie ever did this together live.
You're right. This was a mashup (very professionally done) using footage from Freddie when he was still alive, and Bowie with Annie at a tribute concert for Freddie after he died. The person who did this mashup did a great job combining the two, years apart.
You are correct. They never performed together live "Under Pressure". In hindsight, they COULD have arranged to do the song while at Live Aid in 1985, as Bowie immediately followed Queen in the play list. But Queen was a late addition to Live Aid and they had already worked out a precise song list to play in their 20 minutes allocated, all songs shortened, to maximise the number of songs they could present. Bowie, of course would probably have welcomed the collab but neither had a chance to include together. Cheers.

"Under Pressure" (from okt. 1981) was sampled by American rapper Vanilla Ice for his 1990 single "Ice Ice Baby". Vanilla Ice initially did not credit Bowie or Queen for the sample, resulting in a lawsuit that gave Bowie and Queen songwriting credit.

Two Legends🥁💥👍
Five legends actually!
@@willswomble7274 Queen+Bowie is two !!
"Dancing In the Streets" David Bowie & Mick Jagger Duo 1985 is a must...........
Love this!!✌️❤️🎶
Such good guys. Trying to save the world through their lyrics. Rock on Freddy and David!
The bass is great.
Queen released Under Pressure in 1981. Vanilla Ice released Ice Ice baby in 1990
they did perform this together...a studio version acapella you tube has the audio version two icons and you will never hear pure vocalists like these two collaborating together
The only other collaboration I know of is in the final Queen album, Innuendo from 1991. The epic title track has a Spanish guitar piece by Steve Howe from Yes. Brian May also recorded an EP in 1983 called Starfleet in which he collaborates with Eddie Van Halen.
great song, great collab between legends so different in styles, bowie is a chameleon and freddies got great range
This was our finals song in college. Awesome!😁
?
Bowie The Thin White Duke!
Check Freddie and Montserrat Caballe singing Barcelona, epic.
2 of the greatest voices and personas of our times. Sadly missed.
Another fantastic collaboration David Bowie, & Mick Jagger, "Dancing in the street" recorded for Live Aid and raised millions of pounds for the charity.
I personally love “Dancing in the Street”, but critics then and now continue to shred it.
