"Someone Just Tried To STEAL My Phone!" - Former Met Police Chief Inspector On Lawless Crime In UK

  • Knife crime offences recorded by police forces in England and Wales rose year on year in the latest figures, but remain below pre-pandemic levels.
Some 49,489 offences were recorded in the 12 months to December 2023.
This is up 7% from 46,153 in the previous 12 months, but is 3% lower than the 51,206 in the year to March 2020.
These figures do not include Devon & Cornwall and Greater Manchester Police, due to issues involving the supply of data.
There has been a “notable increase” in the number of robberies involving a knife or sharp instrument, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which compiled the figures.
These jumped from 17,352 in 2022 to 20,755 in 2023, a rise of 20%, though the total is still lower than before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Knife-enabled homicides stood at 239 last year, broadly unchanged on the 235 recorded in 2022 and also lower than pre-pandemic figures.
Some 5,398 offences classed as knife-enabled threats to kill were recorded in 2023, down slightly (by 4%) from 5,618 in the previous year, but in both cases these figures are higher than those recorded before the pandemic.
Former Met DCI Mike Neville says people have “given up” on the police.
“They’ve turned into some sort of reporting agency, because people only report crime if there’s a benefit.”

When the Police and Judiciary no longer work for wider society, they should not be surprised when wider society decides to act independently. Vigilantism is seldom fair and perfect, but when there are no other alternatives available there will be those who take independent action.
Eventually such independent action will be aimed at the Police and Judiciary themselves, and then they will wonder why THEY are being targeted.

Indeed, it's a known thesis within political science called 'anarcho-tyranny'. By way of definition,
"...armed dictatorship without rule of law, or a Hegelian synthesis when the state tyrannically or oppressively regulates citizens' lives yet is unable or unwilling to enforce fundamental protective law".
Sound familiar? Expect the panacea to be digital ID, which prominent UK globalists Blair, Blunkett, and Hague have already floated as an answer to the other pressing and linked issue of the illegal migration. Except, once instigated, do not expect it be used for that purpose, it will be primarily used to surpress the opposition of the law-abiding Western citizen.

Not quite, they do not care who commits the crime or identifying them. The plan is to have the public on their own housing estates and businesses to pay for their own security and then the Police can be defunded.

@@mallafets I don't agree with that, no matter how inefficient and incapable UK policing appears to be at this juncture. I don't believe the state will ever give up the potential tool that apparent 'soft' police power can provide in contrast to direct 'hard' military power. Corporate security services would appear to be more akin to the latter than the former and forment more civil unrest than would be desirable for the establishment. You're entitled to your view, of course.

On the surface this may appear to be a good thing.
However they did not object while they were a police officer.
I have not seen a serving police officer speak of for some time.
They are not willing to speak or do something about it while they are employed.

What about the two police officers who turned up with a NHS mental health worker to talk to a Christian individual, who had spoken to his local priest about the brutal stabbing in Australia of a priest by a young man, and said How can Christians make a stand.' I would assume he was reflecting on how, theologically, Christians should react to this. Someone (I don't if was the priest) reported this comment and the next thing there are two coppers and a mental health nurse arriving at his house to question him and 'see if he needs help'.

London has become like the MENA regions. It is so connected and networked, including in the police, there is a big problem with not wanting to cause problems for friends and family members. They know who these people are, they just have to deal with them, and it's not happening. If officers, at any level, do not do a correct investigation, they should be let go. Plenty of people who want to do the job are there waiting.
