In las cruces it's all desert so the Xmaxx is perfect out here.
I'm currently upgrading mine now. Thanks
I always get a kick out of all the CZcamsrs who do RC over using lock Tite . I am a mechanic by trade as well as a machinist and I also do RC. With electric RC and even most everything on a nitro or gas rc there is just not enough harmonics and vibration to the models to need the lock Tite period. I have not used the stuff ever in any of my race rc or bashers dating back to 1989 . The only time lock Tite was needed and I did use some was on a .050" set screw on the slipper clutch drive cup on a SWorkz s14 evo chassis as that needed it because of the rotation of the drive shaft and the screw being in the center of the cup to the center of the slipper shaft when accelerating then braking then acceleration again an so on during a race caused the screw to back off. And even then it was about 6 race days into the first build of the slipper that it loosened up. Other then that zero lock Tite is used and never will I use it and that includes my nitro buggies as well. Bottom line stop using it or at least stop telling ppl to use it , it is just not needed in 99% of the applications period. Just because you seen some other CZcams key board worrier says to does not make it true period
Thanks for tuning in. My experience with aluminum parts has been if certain parts don’t have locktite they will come apart. That is actually awesome you have never used locktite as well. I tell people from experience that only the slightest bit is needed also. I have found on others peoples Rc’s I have fixed that too much will also ruin bind and down right break parts from seizing. Thanks for the tips😊
How you do it without flat part on motor and the shaft??
The belt is too short and the rolls too tight together, cant get it fixed on my xrt
cool video and install
Thank you!!
Nice Video, I have the same setup, it just happened that my motor turns but does not turn the pinion with the belt.. Any thoughts - Thx
Sir, do you know the parts to make my own belt drive xmaxx. I want the sizes of the pulleys and belt.
Cool detailed install 👍🏻
Thank you!! Appreciate you tuning in to the channel😊🤘🏼
@@pnwRCMADNESS always watching bro 🙂👌🏻
@@pnwRCMADNESS works now! Thanks again dude! Definitely gonna pick one up when I do the 800 or 1100kv upgrade.
Very nice parts Friend 🤩😁👋🇫🇷
I think the link to the belt drive isn’t working. It just takes me to a default Wix homepage.
Thank you for tuning in! Also, thank you for pointing that out. I believe I fixed it. Let me know if its all good. 🤘🏼😊
Worked for me Chris!
is it better to high mount your ESC the way you have it, or low mount your ESC?
I know WFO has a low ESC mount that they sell
Why would he like your comment then not respond 😂
I think lower is better but in this case it doesn't always work
