I bought the same fiskars they broke day 1 on cutting large azaleas. The ratcheting system is held in place with a riveted piece of plastic, mine gave way at that point and wouldn't close all the way down. I also bought months back a hand pruner from fiskars. Blade bent day 1. I ended up sharpening my 20 year old corona hand pruners still working good. Think I'm done with fiskars.

Anvil lovers are mostly for Deadwood you're not gonna get as clean of a cut on a live tree with anvil lockers And those coronas are for live wood
