I broke up with iphone after 10 years. I love this phone. Im still learning all of the features
Approximately the same here. I’ve had iPhones since the 5. I was in the store because my wife had an issue with her phone. Started playing with the Flip 4, traded for it the next day.
I phone has a much better camera and sound. They also have a really cool feature that helps you find your phone in case you lose or someone steals it. This phone is early nice but there isn't any real reasons to swap
@@spectri1990 I have the Galaxy s23 ultra and z flip 4. iPhones camera will beat The Z flip 4 any day but man does Galaxy s23 ultra have a nice camera, It actually has one of the strongest phone cameras right now, I guess a reason for switching would be being bored, need something to make a phone more fun. That's why I switched from LG to Samsung, Samsung just honestly offered more....
@minecrew supernt I was talking about th z flip4 specifically. The specs can't beat I phone 13 late alone 14. Also the battery life is smaller. But it's still a good phone just needs a price adjustment
Android devices are so much easier to use with other programs and devices. Just plug into another device, click and drag any file and put it where you want. Apple is a nightmare.

I have had the Z3 flip and am now moving to the 4, though I still like the Z3. As a media producer, writer, etc., I love the small window on the outside that allows you to use it as a broadcast monitor.

Got to admit I was thinking about buying a flip4 for a while. Studied a lot about it and decided to buy because of one of your videos.
The open and folding to answer a call is sooo beneficial for mommys and daddys! Our kiddos will somehow get their lil hands on our phones *open/shut open/shut* and they won’t answer any incoming calls. 👍🏼

Where did you get the image from on the cover screen on the video thumbnail? Is it a GIF or JPEG? Also dont think you can add colour around the front camera rings, so presuming you edited the thumbnail pic?

Got my phone in yesterday since i switched from a iPhone 13 mini. Love the device just have some time to get used to android and everything! Oh and btw the smart switch iz def a big problem. i had to do that 4 timez to have everything 😂
Yeh well welcome to the bugs on android! Generally android isn’t as polished as the iOS ecosystem but you’ll soon find a TON more that you can do with and multitasking is just the start!

Get a good case with hinge protection....one drop, had to replace phone...had it for 33 days

I have my flip 4 for 3 weeks and i love my phone yes de battery goes down fast.but also charged really fast.the cámara is good 👍 and love the motion mode on photos love the fact that it fits every where

Awesome tips! Not sure about the McAfee part. I know McAfee antivirus on Windows essentially became adware years ago. Not sure how it is on androids

The virtual memory setting has nothing to do with your chipset RAM. All it does is use more of your storage space for swap memory so more apps can remain running in the background, it has no effect on the actual speed or performance of the phone.

E.g my iPhone which only have 6GB ram inbuilt, after opening 5apps, the 6th apps in background was force to sleep. n refresh if i on it again. So personally i like this function, like i will split and pop 4apps in 1 screen, reading on browser, with CZcams on, dictionary app on, n WhatsApp with the keyboard pop up screen on (so i can type). Maybe I'm too greedy, but that really drain the apps.😂 Most importantly i pop up the Stocks app at top right hand corner, so i can sell n buy shares if any drastic movement. *Lose battery rather than lose money* 😅 But i still keep it at 4-6 additional GB ram it's enough to keep 12apps running at the same time without forcing them to sleep.What he is trying to say is more apps running in background is consuming more battery. If you want to maximize your screen size turn off the gesture hint when you turn off the buttons
I found out that when you swipe the touchpad in flex mode with two fingers it scrolls up and down. I use it also with touchpad on my laptop so it is really convenient for me.

VERY different devices - ones a tried and tested, reliable, long battery and ordinary phone with a great camera - the other is a cutting edge but new, super fun but not THAT durable and not the best battery but definitely long enough for most people....... and it folds :)

Great video. I have the galaxy s22 plus and have only had it for 7 months, with so many bugs and glitches to get into. I ordered this flip and I was wondering if you think I should stick with the s22 plus or do you think this one might give me less trouble? Plus Samsung wouldn't give me a new or a refurbished 22 +

Hey funny story. I had the s22 plus. My 4 year old broke it. I sold it for real cheap and bought a z flip 4. I do not see any of the Samsung bugs that I saw in my s22 plus. Before that my s21 ultra before that my s20 ultra my S10 plus my S8+ feel me. I know all bout Samsung 😂 I love my flip. Life changing I can't see myself going to a slab at this point

Must be hit or miss
i think he misses out something, all the split screens can be in portrait or landscape mode. Try using other phone to put Netflix in portrait, or Bank app in landscape, it either can't be done, or my iPhone crash n reboot 😢. N there is a function where u can split your sound too (unless u like all kinda sounds coming out from the 2 speakers). I put my Zoom meeting sound on phone speaker, listening to CZcams music on ear buds, n casting movie sound on TV's speakers *so i can't hear my boss nagging in the boring😮 Zoom meeting* 😂🎉🎉
PS: I'm using iPhone13 pro max, and Flip 4 n Fold 3 for work. Not sure if iPhone 14 can be done (to be fair)

the only issues : the screen protector getting bubbles and cracks near on the middle screen, besides that I love the phone
I only wished it didn't have a gap while closed and flex mode allowed you to scroll up more easy(not using 2 fingers) but otherwise I love it
If they didn't add the gap, then it would have reduced the life of the screen significantly. That's why they still have a gap. Some other manufacturers didn't add the gap, and that's one of the biggest reasons their screen is not much durable.
@@AmanS_4 I was wondering why it had the gap and at first I thought I had a defective phone, good to know this is normal. With a case on its not even noticeable
You missed the multistar from good lock....it allows you to customize 5 apps that can start from the cover screen

i really recommend turning on one hand mode for this tall phone :)
Also 6gb ramdisk would SLOW your system down and I REALLY recommend selecting 2gb, instead of replacing apps in ram once full it will keep them open and just start filling the ramdisk which makes your phone choppy since you'll start loading apps off your flash and not ram, it also wears down your flash with a bunch of writes. Only useful if you're using a BUNCH of apps at once, otherwise you're just gonna have microstuttering and battery issues.
Hi I had my flip 4 about a month I switched from iPhone 12 max I have to say though the face recognition is not good or finger print So using flip 4 for making payments is not good So back to having to carry my bank card again maybe you could give us some advice Also tried using my number code I had to place the phone directly on top of the payment device Not good

I didn't like that I'd close my phone and it would hang up, I've found in the less than a week that I've had it I like to close it mid call cuz it's more comfortable to talk folded for me and I can focus on other things during phone calls and not get distracted by my phone
This feature could be changed in the phone's settings. I chose to turn the feature off and hang up by sliding to end call on the cover screen.

5:51 on thing to mention, if you tap the cover screen, can make it so you get the full view of what yoy're doing :)

No. I just sent mine in for hinge failure. A lot of people have now. Some people are being charged like $540 for a repair because they're finding any way to put the blame on the phone owners. I'm hoping that's not the case when they look at mine. Ill be so irritated.

Had a Samsung flip. When I purchased it 12 months ago, I noticed 2 indentations in the screen one top left and one bottom left, because the phone worked perfectly and the dents weren't noticeable, I did not worry about them. 11 months after purchasing the screen began to lift at the fold. I thought it was not a problem it will be covered under warranty. "NO, IT WAS NOT". When I took it to Samsung they said that due to those 2 indentations it was not covered under warranty.
