Hey saki thx for the vid. if you set up Samsung pay and then activate quick access from the bottom of the phone. When the phone is shut you can scroll up from the bottom left of the cover screen and activate Samsung pay right from the closed phone. Awesome but just one more reason why I'm glad I bought this phone.

Also, something that nobody told me about until I got my Z Flip 5 that blew me away as someone coming from an iPhone 11, you can set Spotify tracks as your alarm sound!!! That's so cool!! I immediately set GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE by The Narcissist Cookbook as my wake up alarm when I found out. I totally wish you could do the same thing with ringtones, I've always wanted to set mine to the Steel Samurai theme from the Ace Attorney series but the only way I could find for iPhone was way too complicated.

thank you very much for the tutorial. switching from 10 years use of iphone to Samsung z flip 5 is like another world, need to adventure, this video is very helpful. What is the difference between the 2 message app? one is the solid Blue, the other with 3 white dot on the blue icon. A few things I notice on this Samsung z flip 5, battery life is not so good, typing does not automatically space, need to press the space bar to separate each word, unlike Iphone has the auto recognition and separate each word typing.
Did they remove the "Life" part of the Battery Status on Samsung Members? Mine says "Normal" and "Capacity: 3700mAh (typical)" like in the video, but there is a space between them. No "Life: Good" section.

Awesome video. I just picked up my 5 Flip over the weekend. A minor question/problem is how to activate at the cover screen the camera icon from home. I cannot, as you demo, activate camera by double clicking the power button. I have to swipe up the actual camera icon open it. Once opened, though, I can take pics with the up/down button and swipe to see other camera features. Everything else you showed worked perfectly, including Good Lock download. Thanks!

Hello, is it possible to make a call WITHOUT speaker turned on Galaxy Flip 5 cover screen, while the phone is still folded?
There's a protective film on the phone screen. Does that stay on? Or do you peel it off?
Leave it on. That is the factory screen protector. If it gets messed up, they will replace it one time for free, IIRC.
How come all the apps on my cover screen is off I can't add any app since I update the phone the more I updated the more apps are off and I can't add. Please can someone help me out please

When you open a App from Good Lock Launcher, How do you Close the App from the Flex Screen ? I have to open the phone to close the app which defeats the purpose of the Flex Screen.
If you pull up from the little indent area, the back button will show up. It's a little finicky sometimes, but that's the only way i know
you do need to go to the Labs section of settings and turn on "use main screen navigation on cover screen" (took me a while to figure out that's what that setting does)
@@casualcaptor7826 thanks for the replies. That does not ' Close ' the apps opened in the ' Good Lock ' launcher. They're still open in the background, you have to open the phone to ' Close ' the app.

Depending on the phone cover, usually, it will come with a screen protector

You have to enable it. Go setting > Cover Screen > Tip > Apps Allowed on Cover Screen.

I’m watching this in the hopes I can figure out how to get the phone to save my passwords. I do NOT want to save my fingerprint on Samsung pass. And chrome aren’t saving them. Even when I have it enabled. It just keeps saying I need a passkey. 😒

I'm enjoying fold 4, and it has exactly the same features. The camera might have a higher pixel. Buy it only if you are mad about photos & video's. The rest is just the same as fold 3 & 4! 😮
