But this yellow triangle means either, your phone charger is slow or damaged and u should change ya charger or there is water in ur phones socket. And yea, sometimes you need to wait an hour till you can charge it again but you don't have to rip it apart.
I had the same indicator as shown in the first graphic. I was given a phone by a good friend of mine who has since replaced it with another Samsung. I took alcohol cleaning swabs (little foil pouches) and used a few wooden toothpicks to clean out all sorts of grunge from either sides of the charging port. Now it is changing at 3%! Woo hoo!
You know these textboxes wich pop up when you plug in bad/broken or slow charger, when your phone is on. It’s mostly the same. It should be safe to just switch to another cable. Worked for me at least. But dont mark my works tho. Im also just a user sharing experience.
wtf are you all worried about.. you dont need to take the phone apart.. This yellow triangle means its being charged slowly.. maybe a usb port.. it needs to be fast charged.. clean the usb port out and dont use a pc to charge
Yep. I can plug in a cheap USB cable and get the yellow triangle. When I use my Anker cable it doesn't happen (that cable is "IF Certified" and was about £7.99).

In this case with the clearly visible corrosion and oxidization, yes, it was moisture damage. In your case, bad charger not providing enough voltage or amperage. Not the same issue.

I notice charging issues shortly after recieving an update is available notification. I honestly believe Samsung messes with the charging and earphone ports if you don't install the endless updates. After every update my phone loses features I liked. While at the same time adding annoying features and unwanted apps.
I deal with it and in my opinion. It lowers the user experience and made me not buy Samsung anymore .. This software has not been before and even an old generation phone without this software is resistant to all this bullshit

Your explanation and experience sounds correct, but my cheap cable doesn't cause my other S10 to have the triangle; so it's not just the cable causing the issue. While a different, maybe better cable, does resolve the issue on the phone with the triangle issue.
Clean out your charging port. I used a dentist tool used to scrape tartar off teeth. Then alcohol pads pushed into the charging port with round toothpicks. Then using the dentist tool, push in another alcohol pad and it is now charging.
One would think samsung would design phones better when it comes to light dampness or dirt,.Any phone I have had it is always the charging port that fails. Often times way too prematurely.

Thanks I did the same, cleaned. No water damage. Used a new type c and plugged in instead of USB port

Often water damage has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. Resolving, can be as simple as replacing plug or cord.

It happens because of water contact. If your phone is in showers or next to a sink with water in it then this happens if you drop it by accident.
Mine galaxy tab has the same thing showing up and its no where near water? Hod do you explain that?

For me s5 it doesn't show the percent only the triangle, overnight in bag of rice fixed it
