    @lethalchocobo1886 Před 2 lety +16

    Loved your reaction.
    Zidane is a player who's hard to truly appreciate when you're not really into football or never played the game. What most CZcams compilations don't tell or show is the way he controlled the midfield (the most important part of the game), his defense splitting passes and how he dictated the game.
    An attacking midfielder is the most exposed position, as you get threats from everywhere and very fast. That's the place where you easily lose the ball, yet when on form he was nearly untouchable. His first touch, ball control and game vision allowed him to toy with opponents, despite him not being the fastest or the flashiest, and make every move of his look so easy.
    Most of all, it's his ability to deliver in BIG games which allowed him to win everything that there is to win in football at a club and national level, and that's why he's up there with the greatest of the game.

  • @SanxBile
    @SanxBile Před 2 lety +51

    Extremely talented football player. Never lost the ball, his passes always connected and he scored the big goals. Highlights won't tell you the whole tale. He was the kind of a guy that had a real presence, confidence and played football with such elegant ease. Capable of doing anything, anywhere, anytime on the pitch. Difficult to explain the type of a player he was. I never rooted for France or Real Madrid but no one could deny his greatness. He really wasn't just good. He's one of the greats.

    Special reaction to a special player. Zizou was my guy growing up. What you guys don't see in this video is his incredible IQ and ability to control and dictate the pace of the game. He could slow down the game at will and trigger a move or a decisive pass at any moment. Middle of the ground, which is the hardest place to play in was his playground. You can take anyone you ve seen or you will see, in his play making and controlling of the game flow he is second to none. It so happens that his dribbling and touch is simply top level. He would resonate with the likes of Magic, Michael and LeBron combined, for your basket analogy. He was a master of the beautiful game.

    You need to both see Ronaldo, NOT Cristiano (CR7), the original Ronaldo (Brazillian guy) R9, He played for Real Madrid and Barcelona and was probably the best complete Striker to ever player the game. I would take a prime R9 Ronaldo, over a prime CR7 Ronaldo, no doubts (CR7 did it for longer, but R9 age 18-24 was terrifying,just frightening)
    Frame like a boxer, strength like Ramos, speed like Mbappe, dribbling and skills like Ronaldinho, and shooting like a cannon, with sniper accuracy, a guy that build should not be able to sprint that fast AND change direction that fast, whilst dribbling, to put it in perspective, a young R9 is the most potent attacking force I have ever seen if we are talking peak, his only possible rivals for me would be Ronaldinho at peak of the career, ...and they played on the same team for Brazil

But do not be fooled by his calm and placid appearance, this man had a nasty temper and if you crossed him on the pitch he was most definitely going to do you...

    Zidane was the player on the field where you think you have him and a millisecond later he's past you. He knew what he was going to do with the ball before received it, this alone is essential for any player but Zidane was master class. Zidane greatest attribute was his touch and control you guys won’t understand how hard it is to control a ball coming at you at fast pace and being able to bring it under control and make it look effortless until you guys acutely play football Zidane was also a master manipulator he would govern the pace of the match he played in he was the master in midfield the quintessential box to box midfielder/playmaker

      No amount of clips would do him any justice as he made everything look sooo darn easy he wasn’t a trickster but his influence over 90mins was magnificent his stats are ridiculous he was man of the match in 85% of the games he played in which is unheard of

    he's like Tom Brady. He's not fast or strong or crazy talented, but he's a master. Highlights don't do him enough. You had to see his impact on an actual game. great reaction!

    Actually, you were not to bad, when calling him Z.Z . His nickname has been Zizou ( pronounced Zizu), that the one the crowd was cheering for
    You could react to France Euro 2000 Road to Victory.
    One of the best team of the world at that time ( World Champion, thanks to Zidane's goals in the final), with a lot of other star players
