The new ROG Swift PG34WCDM, a 34" 800R Curved Display with 240Hz on tap, what's not to love already?! Over the last year I've had extensive use from the previous PG27AQDM OLED monitor and I have to say, if you're a gamer then the HDR performance from OLED makes the entire experience incredible.
The Ultra-Wide curved panel found on the new PG34WCDM steps things up another level with a truly immersive experience. Not only is this panel brighter than ever before, but the 'Clear Pixel Edge' algorithm has finally ironed out a lot of the problems previously associated with text on OLED displays, it's much clearer and more defined.
Performance so far has exceeded my expectations, being able to achieve 240Hz refresh rates in a lot of AAA titles whilst powering with an RTX 4090. Dialling all of the gaming settings up to ultra really let's this monitor sing though, and whilst that may come at a cost of some frames, that's perfectly fine with me for those quality visuals!

It goes without saying that the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDM is without a doubt one of the best OLED Gaming Displays you can buy right now. If you really want the best and most immersive experience, then this has to be the one. At 34", it's the ideal ultra-wide size but without compromising on the FPS.

Nice Video. In My own .. i dont like 34 Inch.. way to small. In my Own i Use 42 Inch OLED LG C2. And wait for the upcoming Monitor 32 4k OLED and the new C4 OLED. LG Is King. I will get both of them
I am using an Alienware 27" 1440p G Sync monitor, I would absolutely love to upgrade to an OLED but the price is going to need to come down quite a bit.

Currently using a china-made OEM 3440x1440p 165hz monitor… but oled is waaaaaay out of my league right now. The cheapest and accessible oled that I’m looking at is an LG ultragear and it is already priced at almost 1000usd in my country. Hopefully, the technology becomes cheaper in the coming years.

Pretty much my dream monitor, i love the one im using now which is pretty much same specs but an older Asus IPS. I would love to upgrade to an OLED for those perfect blacks and quick refresh.

Hey, I have heard that this whole series of new ROG OLED monitors are actually matte display with only a glossy film over it? Is that true? Also, will you test their new 32" 4K OLED monitor Asus pg32ucdm?
Currently, I'm using the Alienware aw3423dwf 34" OLED 165Hz panel. Amazing Display, I'm really happy with it but for sure If I didn't buy it, I would have waited for this brand new 34 OLED Asus

Just no one mentions the VRR flickering on that Oled screen (i know pretty all Oleds doing this) but i can't use VRR on that screen, had to disable it and one of my points that i got this screen was VRR Gsync compatibility.. Well well.

I'm hesitant with this monitor or the latest ASUS 34" OLED - ROG Swift PG34WCDM which is curved 800r oled but in 3440 by 1440p my config is with a 4090.
I'm really hesitant between 4K or curved but in 1440p wouldn't that be a shame or frustrating?
Would I see a concrete difference in the image and sharpness between a 34 inch 3440 by 1440 and 4K?
My type of game, fps, tps, car a bit of everything and nice games like tomb raider, cyberpunk ect.
I'm waiting for the LG 4k 240 hz one. It'll be flat and I could run 1080p 480z if I wanted to.

Use the features it provides. Screen saver. Pixel refreshes after every 4 to max of 8 hours of use. Use the puxel adjuster and do have static logos ledt on for hours on end. In game settings see if theres options on the transparency of static images.
You dont see burn in as much as you use to with all these precautions now. I personally would only use this for gaming or watching movies.

YES they are! If you said OLED then yes, but it's not QD-OLED and neither is WOLED. The future of monitors begins with OLED. QD-OLED is just an experiment. Also to point out that Matte finish is old-school. Monitors need to be Glass Shiny like mobile phones. The Glass will help protect the monitor from scratches and easily be cleaned. Glossy is much better because it will give more color in gaming as well as creativity. OLED is the Future.

At times the blacks seem a little too dark. Like looking at bright things threw a welding mask. Seems to be a lot of detail loss in the shadows. Is it that way in person?
This is the monitor I am going to ascend to now that Asus has included burn in coverage on the warranty.
I have an Asus 32" 165hz panel. I was going to pre-order Dough Tech's OLED but decided to wait on what Asus would come up with. The curvature looks a little too aggressive for me in video, but I do like the specs.

Is that little Asus logo notch thingy (right under the monitor that glows red) removeable? It has a screw on it. Just wondering. Really wanna pick this up sometime in the future but I'm such a picky feller and I KNOW I'm gonna be distracted by that little thingy the whole time I game.
I think it is difficult to capture the experience of using a curved oled monitor without actually using one.

Why DP 1.4 stilll. I don't get it how monitor manufacturers still use 1.4 instead of 2.0-2.1, while AMD & Intel GPUs use DP 2.1 for how long...

The only problem I see with this monitor is the pricing. I can go to Alienware and get a 32" 240Hz 4K QD-OLED for $100 less. Asus should lower the price to compete since Alienware has had the best monitor for the last 2 years or so now.

Might be a stupid question to ask but how does a 1440p OLED compare to a 4K monitor like a G70?
I have a 4K display at home, but use the 1440P panel at the studio. There’s only certain games which have real detailed textures that you can fully appreciate the 4K display in. That said, higher resolution usually means less frames (GPU dependant) so it’s down to what you favour really, visuals or higher frames 😁
My pc sits comfortably with most games on max settings 4k never jittery or drop in frames where it lags so I think I get to appreciate the display, but our TV is a 4K OLED and the picture quality is just different gravy, completely blows my mind. Yet to see a 4K OLED over in the UK that isn't a stupidly large size, wondered if the 1440p was enough but thank you for the reply!@@Mr_Matt_Lee
