First Time Spearfishing in Fiji And I Failed...🇫🇯

- This is the first time I am spearfishing in Fiji and I am pretty new when it comes to spearfishing.
This day the best guide on the island of moturiki took me out to some spearfishing spots around the island for me to shoot some fish but luck was not with me on this day as all my attempts failed. I did not catch any fish. I will not give up and I will continue spearfishing until I shoot my first fish.

Step 1- Have the spear gun ready and bands stretched to the max.
Step 2- Aim for the coral and you'll hit the fish. 😁Cheers!

hi uraia am a rookie like you too , am planning a trip to fiji is lomaviti far from mainland, does your island have local homestay
Bula vinaka fellow rookie, no there is not a homestay on my Island but there is a guesthouse called Kauwai in Ovalau Island which is the neighbouring Island next to Moturiki Island. From Kauwai you Can see Moturiki Island from there and it is under 10 minutes boat trip to Moturiki from there. Here is the link to Kauwai Guesthouse: www.kauwai.com
Oh and some Islands in lomaiviti are but moturiki island and ovalau island isnt. Its an hour away by boat and the Ferry to ovalau island goes everyday day to and from the mainland.
