- Hello guys, i was testing some class items and build ideas for my hunter, and theres one i really like, it's so good in the Glassway Grandmaster Nightfall.
And the best part is.. it's not a melee build! I know a lot of you do not like melee builds so i think this one will fit most playstyles.

This is the first roll I got on my class item and I've been loving it. I play it a bit differently though. I use the stasis melee - since it works well with the dodge and you get two. Best part about it is that it ricochets and on each hit it procs the empowered abilities perk. Then since my melee and dodge freeze, I use a solar grenade to help balance out the prismatic. I'm basically always spamming abilities and prismatic with that setup. I also use tether just because I'm used to it.
I remember watching some tierlist videos on these new class item exotics and so many people were saying that coyote and inmost were trash, probably because they don't work too well with combination blow. Glad to see more people understanding this play style. I feel like I have song of flame up all the time.

An alternative melee you could swap to is smoke bomb. Each tick dmg on ads counts as charged melee hits which refresh the innermost light perk so you have a very long duration of faster cooldowns. So throw the smoke bomb into a group or beefier targets and the perk timer would stay at 5 sec.

agreed this build carries very well in a gm. I run the same setup with strand tangles and threaded blast + the constant freezing targets it’s so good In harder content
I've been using this class item for traversing the Skies.
You'll need grapple, smoke bomb, mtn top, eager edge, tripple jump & ascention.
1. Throw tangle or smoke bomb and grapple it, mtn top for height if u have none.
2. Grapple
3. Activate class ability mid grapple
4. Jump
5. Eager edge
6. Activate class ability
7. Eager edge
8. Jump.
Depending on your height, you may have time for another eager edge swing.
Great build. Love prismatic hunter with Spirit of Coyote. I would use Inmost Light as well except I’ve been spamming Ascension for constant jolt / amplified (was great in the GM boss phase room), and Ascension “consumes” your ability and doesn’t “use” it (like a dodge), so doesn’t proc Inmost Light. So went with Galanor/Coyote, to get super back

@WStormborn ive been loving the ascension aspect too! Try it with radiant dance machines(find group, throw either wither blade or threaded spike, dodge then jump and helicopter!) As long as you proc rds first and get kills you can use it again and again😂
Add Gunpowder gamble and you'll have literal bombs to drop from your flying death machine

I’ve been running inmost light/ cyrtarachne and a similar build to this in GM and I’ve been absolutely carrying with ability spam and tankyness

I really want HOIL with verity and synofor my hunter. Have a roll with star eaters and its great butbi really think itbeith synoceps would be great. I have a synoceps with calibans and its great fun, but i kinda feel calibans is kinda redundant with synoceps. Enhaced tjresded spike alreadys lills most everything even in GMs. So i kinda f erl judt having your threaded spike plus your dodge and grensde up nearly constantly woukd be better than calibans with synoceps.

its awesome! faster ability regen and more damage on every other hit or after you are hit, but use combination blow
What weapons were you using here?
normally for this GM i go with Wishender but i test a lot of stuff
