This Prismatic Hunter build can be used with ANY class for Infinite Empowered Grenades!

After experimenting with a number of class item combinations on Prismatic, I found a great build using Spirit of Inmost Light and Spirit of Verity to give you infinite empowered grenades, especially while transcendent. I originally created this as a Hunter build, but since both Warlock and Titan have access to the same exact exotic class item, anyone can use this build with a few slight adjustments. If you want to spam tons of grenades and abilities, or maybe you want to try something different from the current meta Prismatic builds, this is a fun, powerful build that you can start using right now in PvE.

UPDATE: Gunpowder Gamble doesn't require a solar weapon. Thanks to all the comments that pointed it out!

Spirit of verity buffs gunpowder gamble on any grenade type, not just solar. You just need to match the base elemental grenade and an elemental weapon.
Strand weapons + grapple is the best since you proc empowered grenade and melee on a grapple melee hit.

winter shroud is a good second aspect from running this combo myself, it slows nearby enemies on dodge but also provides 300% class ability regen for 3 seconds on slowing the enemies which also includes slowing with withering blades. Another good tweak is trying grapple grenade with a strand primary like breachlight ideally with either pugilist or demo to give more ability cooldown, at 5x verity the grapple grenade does 100k+ as well and it also procs melee/grenade fragments and mods like facet of blessing.

personally i would use threaded spike over withering just for the free melee charges from hitting like 4-5 things, plus tangles charge gamble so its another charge source. spike also severs so you have more survivability.

You do not need solar for GPG to get verity’s damage buff. As long as you match your grenade element, GPG will still death throes buff

Tried it but constantly having to play around verity becomes tiresome, I just tunnel vision too hard on the Death Throes x5 before using gpg. I'd say my fav Inmost Light synergy has to be with Coyote. Pair with a Caster Perfect Fifth Ergo Sum with catalyst and you got pretty much infinite sword ammo + enough damage to use it in GMs

You don’t need a solar gun for gunpowder gamble :) I use my grapple melee which isn’t smart but I use the call to get the verity buffs then the trip mine also gets the buff tested this a couple times I was doing like forty something thousand without verity and over 100,000 on all 5 stacks in saying that my test was in overthrow while passively playing but it definitely did buff it without a solar gun

It's fun! It really shores up a lot of areas that the mono subclasses were lacking, which is awesome. It does feel a little limited in what builds are at the top though

I would’ve chose the threadling’s instead of grapple just for ultimate threadling army with threaded specter and the balance of power exotic “go screeeeee my children” 😂 hopefully we get more options

Well actually im annoyed by everyone just talking about prismatic. Prismatic gets kinda boring after a while and i spent like 40 minutes yesterday to find a solar build that isnt shards of gallanor and uh yeah i found nothing. So im just back to prismatic

If you don’t run nighthawk and still hunt while playing hunter, just don’t play hunter at that point

Not really. That build is extremely strong for boss damage but there are other prismatic builds that are solid
