I am waiting for Taylor to have a panel she enjoys so much that she realises she has the power as the host and not eliminating anyone.
If she contractually could, you know she would.
I really hope this lineup returns. And, Pete should be a regular.

Billy took a completely unworkable "say goodbye" segment idea and made it work!
It probably could have worked if the guest had any idea what the style of that children's book was.
@aftermidnight I know you have to cut it down for time on CBS, but can you put the full segments on CZcams? Nico got 4000 points without us seeing it!
Perhaps the only reason we get these on YT is because they are edited differently from the actual show.
I think there is an issue with the buzzer for the middle podium. There have been two comics who have made comments about it “not working”, and ai think the majority of the contestants to be disqualified were in the middle podium.

Please let the contestant that gets cut sit in a comfy recliner chair or something next to Taylor for the rest of the game. The dismissal is uncomfortable and creates a feeling of negativity. The “loser” hanging out next to Taylor and getting a sort of “win” and a podium to continue ridiculing would be hysterical and the vibe would be more positive.
This is a great idea--it's already super awkward how they have to stand there til the break and then come back on stage just a few minutes later after the final segment. PRODUCERS ARE YOU READING THIS?
I think they should remain at their podium, but they have to wear a bag on their head. They can borrow the "NO" bag from Numberwang (q.v.).

I had never watched this before, it's a lot like 8 out of 10 cats.
When I forget what I was about to search, I instead start typing "Misfile", an almost subconscious action inspired by the webcomic of that same name in which a heavenly misfile causes incredible consequences on earth! 😜

And then, in the British comedy game shows like "truth or lie" or "8 out of 10 cats", they usually have 2 heavy hitting comedians as recurring contributors.

I feel like they've made a conscious choice to exclude him since he got briefly put in MeToo limbo. They had Thomas Lennon back on, and even joked about the season 1 DVD, but never mentioned him.
FWIW I think he was a phenomenal host, but I have no clue what really happened or what kind of consequences were appropriate for him. It's just a big bummer.

Exactly. I don't know why, but the point jumps are so distracting. Still, great show.
Yeah it’s like the original show. They edited because some jokes might be extreme and they left them for CZcams or the shows socials.
There was a LOT of additional banter this episode so they likely had to cut a lot just to keep it in time for broadcast.

You don't care about continuity? 🤔 If you're cutting a joke for any reason, you can't then count the points for that joke! In this segment alone Nico gained 2 or 3 thousand points but we didn't see the jokes. It's kinda annoying.

I saw someone comment on one of the earlier episodes that if non comedians came on the show, they'd be provided jokes. Not sure if they got that info from the previous version of this show, or made it up, but it makes sense, not everyone is good at improv, and it makes the show vibe much better

I'm pretty sure Billy was just making a joke about how much better he thought Pete's jokes were.

This show has become a lesson in poor taste -- bad taste -- and this episode isn't even the worst example. Pass.

@@krisrhodes5180 Yes, roughly one out of three guests she invites on makes a vomit-worthy remark, "vulgar", to use an ancient word, in the extreme. Even though Taylor T is charming by herself, there is no real good reason to watch this sporadic poop fest any more.
