I was just thinking that too. Admittedly, I had no idea who he was at the time and didn't watch it (and I kick myself about that). BUT I LOVED CRASHING. I try to catch his You Made It Weird interviews on You Tube.

Bizarre coincidence that he's on tonight . . . I was catching up on his pocdast (You Made it Weird) earlier & watching the episode w/ Chris Evans. The Zach Braff ones are seriously great. Still bummed about his late night talk show being dropped. And his Batman, X-men, & Street Fighter skits are classics! Nice to hear about his new stand-up special - definitely adding it to my list.
It’s not really bizarre when you think about it. He has a special out on Netflix, he’s doing the rounds, late night tv and podcasts.

The "bizarre coincidence" part was that I listened to an episode of his podcast from ~4-months ago (saved in my Watch List) earlier in the day. I had no idea about his new special, nor that he would be appearing on this show tonight. I wasn't about to misuse the word "ironic" to describe the occurrence, unlike a famous song.
@@Kitty8791 I understand now, I have experienced the same coincidences. I always think of them just being lucky timing more than bizarre. For me a bizarre coincidence would be if the people in question, all of a sudden mentioned a particular phrase or quote from a book that I was reading that very moment or same day/timeframe. THAT would be bizarre, but still not unfathomable.

Pete might not be for everyone. But he's definitely for me.
Been a huge fan for well over 10 years now. Crashing, his talk show, his stand up...is all excellent.
But he also has a podcast that has well over 500 episodes...with literally every guest you could think of. PERFECT mix of silly and serious. And every week, he and his wife Val put out one with just the two of them...that I honestly often like more than the main show episodes. They're VERY open about every single going on in their lives...it's like catching up with old friends and genuinely good therapy in one. Pete and Val complement and balance each other so perfectly. If they ever split up....I'm gonna be so bummed I legit might have to call into work sick.
