    Best gybing video I have seen. I watched it long time ago and today I watched it again. The part where you explained how to flip the sail when backwinded makes sense (I have that problem with big sails and light wind). I will try it next time out. thanks!

    Really great video: Very detailed and with tricks for light wind jibing. You solved my issue with the sail-into-face issue in light wind. Just fantastic video, very well made and with good teaching skills

    I really appreciate this video! The apparent wind part.. I struggled with it and could not understand why I am hitting an air-wall and what to do. now I will try next time out! Thanks Luka

    Hi Luka, very helpful video and nice to watch! Your description of the apparent wind becoming too strong and the rotation technique is essential to help my gybing in light wind conditions (even though I am not foiling, haha!). Thanks!

    very helpful thanks....so many opinions about sail flip first or step jibe. Probably best approach is to do what you normally do, but more gentle and staying more centerline. I'm a step jibe guy, and trying to get the sail flip first while switch stance (based on other videos) has been screwing me up bigtime. Cant wait to try this tomorrow. Thank you!

    The last part of the video ("whoat to do if the apparent wind coming in from the front is too strong") sees like an instruction for the Helicopter tack. Amazing that the two moves are similar in some situations. Or at least, skills from mastering the helitack can be helpful in slightly messed-up foil gybes.

    • @nikiesun214
      @nikiesun214 Před 4 lety

      it's so much easier to understand when u give the helitack analogy

    • @LukaMratovicCRO751

      Yes it is something similar like helytack. I didn't think that way🤙

    Smooth as silk! Nice vid. I'm just starting to foil (starboard fórmula 160 adapted box and NP alu foil). Getting some trouble with sustained flights. It's as if I have to put lots of pressure on back foot

      Move footstraps and mastbase back and start with that. If that can't help we can try other things.

    I'm surprised the feet change over before the sail is flipped. I've seen the opposite order taught elsewhere, e.g. Wyatt Miller's video. Is this a big sail vs. small sail (or duck jibe) difference?

      Pole is part of the boom and one screw goes thru the pole to board and then to the foil.(front screw).
      Hope you understand what i explained 😁
