Baba O'Riley is such an epic rock song. Of course, with the violin solo, it was one of the first non-classical tunes I learned. The first time I ever played this with a band, and I saw the audience's reaction at the end, I was hooked. I knew I needed to do this for a living. I'm still playing this solo years later.
Pete Townshend's guitar work is so interesting and creative, and the original violin solo by Dave Arbus comes out of nowhere and works itself into a frenzy. I often wonder to myself how someone even thinks to write a song like this. I've recreated both parts here.
Performed on a Yamaha EV 205 and an Aegidius Klotz 1752.
Filmed and edited by Brody Dolyniuk. - Hudba
The violin solo is the best part of the song and you nailed it!
Wow! Just Wow!!!
After seeing a few ladies playing this I still can't believe it's even possible!! This is just outstanding. All love 💓
JUST SHAKING MY HEAD !! WOW !!
Wow! Just wow! This was one of my landmark albums when I was in college. You have tapped into the power of this song. Excellent work! Thank you! I am sharing with everyone!
Best outro ever.
It's my favorite too! You do a wonderful rendition.
WOW...
Great song, by one of my all time Favorite groups... Excellent! Thank you!!!
Son of Sam, serial killer from the summer of seventy-seven. Sounds super!
That was so good! Just fantastic! It was actually Keith Moon who suggested to Pete that they use a violin on the original track.
That is how i learned about the song as well.
Up until that point all I knew about them was "Tommy".
You got it that’s it!
Luved it!!!!
Gave me musical sonic goose bumps. Excellent! Thanks for sharing your talents.
The who were always one of the big three bands on my bucket list to see, led zeppelin probably tops (like that's ever going to happen) I finally got to see rush in 2014 (on my birthday no less), 2017 we were planning a trip back up to NY and my brother-in-law called me to say they had just announced the who near by ... The best thing about the show was listening to all of the history they had .. talking about performing at woodstock and watching jimi hendrix and saying to themselves "wow he's really going to be something" .... 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks Nina, thanks Pete, thanks Dave!
You are fantastic Nina...I adore that song....
Perfection on earth...Bravo.....Be well......looking forward with anticipation for future post. Thank you.
Nice ! What sets this up high is how clean it sounds, no smudges or overdone effects.
I’m truly impressed.
I need to see your live performance. ❤❤
Magnifico
Fantastic
Listening to it in harmonica is already great but listening to it on the violin is really sublime. Thank you!
Roger usually does Dave Arbus's solo on the harmonica, so to actually experience "Baba O'Riley" live with a violinist in tow is very rare.
Awesome 👍
U. My new play list
One of my favorite songs ! I went to Florida summer of 1977 I had all my Zeppelin and Who tapes they blasted me there , while there and back ! Perfectly done young lady !
Ты женщина моей мечты!!!!! Без тевя я умру

Wow.. never knew they used violin in this song.. Absolutely brilliant song by an amazing band!!
Miss Nina, I would luv to see you live.❤❤❤
I saw the WHO in 1984 Phoenix ASU Stadium on Halloween.
It was called Whollaween.
MOON had already passed away, it was brilliant.
You gave me goosebumps. Thanks Miss Nina.
You so rock - thank you very much. I got goose bumps and I don't remember the last time that it has happened to me watching a music rendition on CZcams!

You make my eyes smile
Very good. Total Beauty talent indeed
So beautiful, a perfect instrument
great!
Nina, that was great, I wish electric violin played a larger roll in rock music. Have you ever heard the song Up to You by Canadian band FM? Very cool sounding lead electric violin riff, and a nice solo in the middle. It's on their album called City of Fear and Spotify has it if you are interested in what it sounds like.
Made me cry!
You don't have to fight, to prove you're right. ❤
You are amazing. I've loved this since it was new. You've given me an entirely new "look" at one of my all-time favorite songs. Thanks very much.
FREAKIN MAGNIFICENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice! Outstanding!
You killed that! that was so good!
Nice playing and beautiful tone!
Bravo from New Orleans 🎭
Fabulous rendition. Beautiful version and especially love the violin. Never appreciated the violin portion as much as I did in your “cover”. BTW, know the SOS “David Berkowitz” story well, having been raised in the Bronx. 👍
It's always been the Violin/ keyboard bit for me.
As Andrew Dice Clay would say: F'ing phenomenon
BRAVO Lovely Lady!!
Hi!
So I came across your channel a couple of days ago and I have to say, you are so talented I love your playing.
This made smashing the subscribe button a foregone conclusion. :)
Nina. WOW. wondrefull ! Прекрасно !!!
So bad ass
Fucking hell!!!! That was amazing
wow...she"s good
Yup. I agree. As good as it gets. The violin solo alone would make it into the history books and you play it beautifully. I finally got to isolate the 2nd violin part. What a cool duet that is. Could never hear it this clear on the album. I'm wondering how you were able to isolate it enough to learn what he was playing. Great video Nina.!
All music
I do think you did a good job on this Who song, Nina!
I GAVE YOU A STANDING OVATION!! I EVEN HAD BIC LIGHTER!!!
You sound like Jodie Foster! Awesome video
Where can I buy your music. I love it
💋
The EV 205 looks really rad with those machine head tuners.
Definitely, I managed to get one which I'm very surprised by, mostly because yamaha doesn't make those violins anymore, plus the machine head pegs never slip which is absolutely amazing
@@ianconnerviolin7647 I highly recommend putting machine head tuners on all the violins cause they'll hold tune better. Yamaha should make these instruments again someday. They should phase out all the friction pegs and fine tuners, and just stick to mechanical tuning machines especially for beginners cause tuning is actually easier that way.
@@RockStarOscarStern634 I've been thinking about it but my only problem is that I've never put any on a violin
@@ianconnerviolin7647 I reccomend putting the machine head tuners on your Violins (& other bowed instruments if you have them like Viola, or Cello, or even so Tenor Violin) right away because tuning them will be a whole lot easier (this will also allow you to get rid of the fine tuners from the tailpiece). Glasser has really good sets of Planetery Perfection Pegs with a Synthetic Head that hold up & they simply screw into the existing holes. The Geared Tuners never slip, so no slipping pegs, no worries.
@@RockStarOscarStern634 There are reasons for natural pegs on acoustic violins, but on my electric violins I much prefer machine heads.
You should cover Dust in the Wind by Kansas.
That's a great idea. Love to hear that song once in a while. So beautiful.
Needs to be about 10 minutes long.
I always think of the music in Conan: The Barbarian (when they break in to steal the jewels).
so are you n Brody going to make a full version like the recent Rush one? I also think it would be kool if you all did Let my love open the door. I mean after all even Chinese cowboys wear spurs
U RR BEAUTIFUL ❤
Вы-красивая девушка! Супер! ❤❤❤! 🎉
So now I have a video of you playing the keith moon violin part, and sina doing his drum part of the same song
I gotta say.... You have the most hipnotic and beautiful eyes. They're like a magnet. Take good care of them.
How can one human even do that
Can you check out Odyssey by the Dixie Dregs and the cover by Dream Theater? I would love to see you cover the violin parts to this amazing prog rock song.
When palpatine fell this song play😂
That was awesome! If I could do that, it would make me smash the violin when I was done
hi me and some friends are making a version for yt of this song, but we have no violin for the violin part, we do not in F we do in F in C, do you want to join us and play the violin part ... if you want help us answer this comentary
