Well, nobody did a whole lot for eight years 2014 to 2022 when Russia took about 18% of Ukraine. @@user-um4ll5uq9das a Ukrainian who was lucky enough to escape that hellhole, I can say without a doubt Ukraine under Russian "oppression" was/will be much better than under American "democracy".
