Like them .. great job ..
Do y’all ever plan on doing anything with starting up a 1990-2000 two stroke after been sitting for a while?
Thanks again
Andy for PRESIDENT!!!
Andy for President 💯💯💯💯💯💯
i currently have 2 25/20 mercury jets. One of the best outboards ever made.
Love those, been looking for a good one for awhile. What do you run them on?
I love your banter with Jordan. Good stuff Andy. Need more of these 👍🏻
Awesome vid Andy
Yeah Mercury 2 stroke 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love these on the water videos y'all do. Keep it up Team Marine
Keep these videos coming, it was nice to see that you work on all boats....not just the expensive boats.
🎉yes
Enjoyed your video very much, on the water repairs aren't always easy. Good job!!!
I do these same things all day long and still I enjoy watching your videos.big up From Finland!🇫🇮
Nice! Hello Finland!!!
Always nice to watch someone that knows what they're doing.... and does it well.
Speed money no brakes, that's the content. More of that. Thx
I'd like to see you have fun! If that is fishing...I'm all for it!
Loved it Jordan and Andy.
These are my favorite videos you guys do by far!!! These and prop/river testing. Keep them coming!
Great video guys
Thanks so much!
ANDY for PRESIDENT!!!! We need another one that's not scared to use his voice!
I know the big motors are where the moneys at, but you can't deny its nice to watch this.
That's a kick ass motor man. Love the hands on stuff.
Gills for sure. Coming up for my vacay to gill and crappie fish
I like the regular videos but man I really like seeing these hands on and shop life videos a lot idk why it’s fun to see the magicians do their magic
Love these hands on videos, keep them coming! Good stuff! And yes you need to have a sit down chat with the Merc guy…
You got it Glenn
I would vote for Andy.
Great video.good to see hands on .would vote for you for president then maybe gas and diesel prices would be a lot better and everybody's outboard would run flawless
Love to watch you work on stuff, and get it done👍
I really like the everyday things that u go through working on boats it's informationial would love to see more of the shop life
Hell yes
🔥🔥🔥
Great video guy's! Keep it up
These are interesting to watch keep up the good work Andy and Jordan.
Yep got my vote!!!
Really enjoy these types of videos
Let's see some bass fishing!

Andy for Prez!!!
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great Video! Like this kind of content.
Just picked one of those turns up cheap last week for my Jon boat. Thanks for the video. Will reference it for the rebuild. Just eyeballing it, what an American POS motor. Odd primer/choke mechanism, retarded integrated fuel pump built directly into the carb. Broke my rules of sticking with Japanese motors. What an absolute pos motor. But good info, thanks bro.
Was that a chunk of rubber from the fuel line? Do i get a free hat? Lol 😆
Really appreciate your channel. Lets see a day of buckets and gills!!
I like these type of videos
Gotta love them junk fuel lines,,, I like these videos keep it ip
Yes make a whole episode of you out of the lake catching big ones or do a catch and eat video
The tuning of the carburetor was key. I could not tell if the idle screw or throttle screw was being turned on the side, but I saw that the needle screw was turned clockwise more than a quarter turn presumably to run richer than lean. I will be rebuilding my 2002 Mercury 25EL carburetor this Friday. OEM parts come Wednesday. This was a helpful video, also saw the float position as well.
Liked the video and some more like it would be a plus.
You have my vote 😂
bucket mouth video
great vid
Good video
Thanks Nick
A video about how reliable the Yamaha 2 stroke auto lube system is would be a good video
Love videos. I feel for the $105 in fuel. I complain about $3.29 gallon here in Texas
It was $4 in 2008
I feel like there could have been a few eating crayons 😂
He'll ya
I have the mariner version of that motor. Like you said, bulletproof.
Yes, go fishing.
Bad gas? Try the gas from Taco Johns in Lake Hallie! If you want smell!
Amazing!!!!! It would be great if you guys do more yamaha service and rebuilds also!!!!!!
Yamahas don’t require many rebuilds if serviced right….. 😊
Reply to question about Zack in the video - Probably working at a different job, doing the best for himself and his family. Can't blame anybody for that.
Also, I like the 'on a boat' content. Maybe mix it up between repairs and actually fishing. 50/50. I like to see both, and everyone needs to mix work/fun for life balance, even Andy.
That piece in the carb looks like it was a piece of liner from an el-cheapo fuel line.
Zach was finishing up Mechanic school and is working in the shop today
@@TeamMarineService Happy to be wrong. Kudos Zach.
Who likes these type of videos?
More please!
Been hanging out for more videos like this!
What happened to the Lund with the 225 merc that wouldn’t get full revs?
My dad has a 1989 or 1990 Merc 25 on his original boat (MonArk 1648) that he ran before buying a 1992 Ranger 681C with the Merc 115 2+2 at the Dallas Boat Show in 1993.
Would have been nice for some carb adjustment details. Was hoping it was more of a how to.
Inside liner of gray fuel line with orange writing
Yep
How about Andy’s opinion of The Vault, hub system? Not sure I like the Hybrid grease vs regular grease. It sure sucks when a hub goes out.
Loved the video…. I think I might know why the response/need.
Saw a FB post for an outboard repair for a person very near to Racine Wisconsin. I was first to recommend Andy. Took a while; but then posts were 50/50…either Andy and team marine were the bomb or all Andy does is YT videos and sell T shirts.
Andy and Team Marine do all of the above; then some and damn better than all the rest because they tell it like it is.
Lastly Jordon hurting for content? Asking for lists of comments.
1. Andy’s video T-shirt was awesome coming into Memorial Day. Army green rocks
2. Absolutely nail down a Mercury tech!
3. Some should do a remake for your Channel as smooth Carburetor.
4. Run for office. I’d vote for you because I’ve been to our local city and county meetings and very few have the balls to make hard decisions. They have no balls and want to think it to death; worried to make a decision that half will hate and half will love. You were elected by a majority. So your job!
5. Can we get Andy some non-grandpa socks! They kill me! These are the best and I even have a new pack that I haven’t even opened and will sent them to him if need be. Other wise here is what he needs

Mercury red fuel line liner if it’s made it past the filter to that little fuel pump that filter is full lol
What determines when you fix on the water vs bring it in so I don't lose parts or tools? That was a little boat . Not hard to get on a trailer
Andy is it worth running ethanol free gas in the newer motors?
Just a question trying to answer in my head a 1987 mercury 20 hp has exactly the same specs as a 25 hp . The only difference I see from a shop manual is the 25 HP has 500 RPMs more than the 20 HP. they both have the same bore and stroke. i’m assuming Port timing may have something to do with it but I’m not an expert in outboard. I know on the old Johnsons used to be able to change the intake to increase horsepower. But on the mercury, it seems the intake is the same size. look forward to your response. Lol😂
I'd be terrorfied of bits falling into the water. It's bad enough when working above the back lawn.
Have same motor . Trouble finding carb kit . Any leads
Keep up all the videos, variety is king. But one on a cold hard to start early 2000 carbed 3 cylinder sylonoid choked mercury would be appreciated
And a whizzing starter motor after engaging ring gear on the return
8:52 is that the tip of the needle? Or is that just dirty fuel trash? Or part of the diaphragm or bulb?
Nope no fishing.. only work on black anchors 😂
I would vote for ya, but I live in Indianapolis so don't think that would work. 🤔
Hahaha
Is that the pieces from fuel line? That ethanol in that fuel bad stuff.
The only Mercury product I liked those year 25hp were sweet runners
Fuel line degrading from ethanol fuel.
I have a 25 horse merc that will start and run fine. But when I set idle for a little bit and accelerate she chokes down and dies. Any idea what could be causing that
Did you ever figure it out?
That would be the liner from bad fuel lines
Yes
And never drop your nuts in the lake unless you’re going swimming lol
Fuel line liner came apart due to ethanol in gas
Yes
I will vote for u Andy! As long as u don’t run as a democrat lol… would love to see more of these kind of videos 👍👍
So let me make sure I heard u correctly, 2000 yr model merc 25hp is bullet proof? Is that you practicing being a politician? Lol
froom the old crummy gas tank fuel line
fuel line is breaking down
Absolutely vote for you and piss off the leaches known as politicians.😅
Slam some inshore species???
No offense Andy cause I think you’re an awesome dude and I love your videos but anyone or anything would make a better president than the one we have now
Somebody that knows what the shit they are doing! Here is my $500 to fix my motor!
Throw it in the garbage and get a Yamaha or Suzuki
