Call Upon Me is a short course brought to you by Al Madrasatu Al Umariyyah. Join Ustadh Muhammad Tim Humble as he outlines some key etiquettes relating to dua, followed by practical examples of common dua’s from the life of the Prophet ﷺ. Allah is the One who created the heavens and the earth, the One who is in complete control over His creation, and the One who is able to do all things. So how easy is it for Him to grant us everything we have ever desired? If only we knew how to ask…

Mu’adh (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) took hold of my hand and said:
“O Mu’adh! By Allah I love you, so I advise you to never forget to recite after every prayer:
Allahumma a’innee alaa dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ‘ibaadatika
(O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner).”
[Abu Dawud]Aren't we supposed to make this Dua after every prayer as well?

What is meant by the end of the prayer is before salam. You say it after tashahud and blessings on the prophet(saw). If Im not mistaken Ibn tayymiyah had this view.

Also my dear brother also to mention that not to look to sky (towards the heavens) when making the dua as mentioned in Hadith stating in the Salah which included dua according the ulamah, as far as my knowledge reminds me I hope I was correct
