Nathan, RockAuto has the Card one units, motor and gear housing.... Part # 8231, 8232. It is the exact footprint of the original. $30

Thanks, I was wondering if those motors were adaptable to a 65. I think I'll try reworking mine better first, have new rollers and greased tracks, but noticed yours have more spring tension. I think I'll even open up an original motor for a rebuildto see how that works for me. Thanks for the videos, you are great at explaining the processes.

Do you have any diagnostic step videos? My 64 was parked for a couple years and none of the windows will roll down now. Passenger vent window works in both directions, driver vent window will always open but only closes sometimes. Every switch shows a draw on the battery looking at the amp gauge so I think the switches are still good, just weird that all the window motors would fail at the same time. Not sure where to start.

Nathan--Absolutely great videos and discussion--thank you very much. I am currently in process of rebuilding a 1964 Lincoln with 430 engine which is in very good shape. One quick question is regarding the 2 front block thermostats located inside the waterpump port area. I have read many conflicting answers to the question of whether or not to remove them permanently during rebuild or try to replace them and I cannot find any Ford Service Bulletins. From your experience with these engines, what do you find best to do with these thermostats? All the best... and thanks again for all your excellent videos! --rob

I replace them. There are two different sizes so measure the ones you remove before ordering. Many people say they leave them out without issue.
