There is a drain plug on the passenger side of the oem rad. Pull that out and it empties the rad in a perfect stream unlike the earlier models where the drain doesn't point straight down.
What are the two silver stems at the bottom my stock one didn’t have those ?
What were you doing with your hand to make the coolant go up and down so much in the funnel? Or was it a coincidence...
Compressing the upper radiator hose to burn the system.
Did you replace all the hoses too or just keep the same?
Just bought this radiator. The coolant lines from the radiator to the expansion tank didn't fit oem. Did this same thing happen to you?
No mine fit just fine
What year is yours?
Same! The connecting pount on the csf oe radiator was smaller than the hose connected on the expansion tank
What did you plug the transmission cooler attachments with?
Yeah
@@TommyLinebarger what lol
@@mikestoms4015 dude i was thinking the same, but if u pause at around 10:27 or 10:28 mark u can see the black rubber caps on the transmission cooler lines
How’s your radiator holding up
Solid!
Price?
Hey tommy what made you decide to get rid of audi s4 with ported blower and buy this subi? Subi are just such plastic interior no sex appeal no luxury at all in my opinion.
Well, I actually had the Subaru for over a year before I sold the S4. The Subaru is my daily since it gets better MPG and isn’t in show condition so I didn’t have to worry too much about driving it. I sold the S4 because I was sort of at the end of the build and what could be done with it. Things started to get limiting. So I decided to wait for the right project to show up to replace it. AKA my 89 E30 325. Hood this helps 🤙🏻
@@TommyLinebarger wow going to the past yeah i have c7 a6 3.0t thinking of jumping into s6 as a6 is limited to power.
A6 shares the same motor with S4 . It’s not limited, just needs to be opened up. The S6 will also react nice to a tune and some exhaust.
I sold you that radiator
The great Kwon at it again
