I'm just starting a voice over career and have always wanted to experiment with a looper and my voice to make music. This video has been the most fun example of how to use the RC 505 MKII without getting into the weeds and making me doze off. Now I want to try it! LOVE your energy man! You inspire creativity!

The mark 1 was good mk 2 is amazing
But… they removed the very useful light indicating the input level on the 505 mk 1. In my opinion this was a mistake.

Try setting the measures on the track options on free and loop syn on immediate

No not at all. Just a microphone and any other hardware you want to connect, like a synthesiser for example.

hi there. Im a complete newb to this but I hope somebody can help me out..
I recently got an mk2 and i am connecting it to my mac pro via usb.
I am using OBS studio to record the sound coming from the mk2.
Now here is the question....
I have noticed that in the finished recording I can hear the rhythm sound aswell.
I have tried to find solutions but nothing is working for me....
To clarify all Ive done is add an extra audio source in OBS studio and chose Boss RC 505 MK2...
Could somebody please explain to me as simple as possible what I need to do so that I dont hear that rhythm sound in the recording anymore ....

I heard some good things and some bad things about the new version. mixed impressions. the longer fader way is a plus and the new model seems to sound a little bit better, but there's also a lot of "man this is a beta product, wait for firmware update #3" comments. Since I can't afford one right now, I may think about it again, later. After the firmware adn my bank account upgrade ;-)

Okay 2 things:
1) This machine looks perfect and well crafted. Roland is on their game as always, I’m so glad I held off on getting the first model because this is looking to be worth the wait. Thank you for showcasing it!
2) I’m so glad I’m not the only audio engineer that sniffs new equipment straight out the box 😂
fantastic work and humor! Good luck with it holding up. I had the original and it was dead within 2 years, yup. First, one slider just quit, then the darn thing stopped allowing input audio on the input jacks. All after the warranty expired, naturally. So, buyer BEWARE. As much as I loved the functioning unit, it died WAY too soon to get anything but a terrible review from me. Boss should make sturdier products. Will never buy again.
Claudio, consigli su come racimolare danari per i synth? Soprattutto se sei uno studente di conservatorio che spende 40€ a partitura (ma perché la cultura deve costare così tanto che caz). Magari attraverso proprio i synth che si hanno già, come concerti o non so cosa

How much is one of those gadgets.
Here’s what kind bothers me about this: there seems to be no competition. Maybe I just don’t know. Other than that though, the looping functionality seems to be legit. Not so sure about the FX though and the vocoder, the latter sounds kinda retro. You used it tastefully though!

The most of this things you can also doin with a good DAW, Boss VT 1, and ideas, but Not so fast/ For a Entertainer like Claudio ..that's your thing ;-), because you're fast.. Question: can you also use this as Audio Interface for recording in DAW ? OK, i read this right now in Internet, it's a Audio Interface...
