so he just fell down hoping to buy time for his teammates and ended up causing both the runner and blocker to trip over eachother. Most guys would just try to tackle the runner and get helplessly blocked

very good point. I had to play back that a few times to figure out what the tackle was all about. It was counter intuitive, but you are right, it was very smart and stopped the potential TD play.
When I was a kid that played Pop Warner football, I used to engage with the blocker and basically bull rush him into the ball carrier! Today… not so much 😂
Yes somebody else was trying to call that a missed block. No it was just a very smart play by the defender. If you've been following the Bengals this year, Chase has a bunch of long yardage catches. Some of them have been on deep balls thrown by Burrow. But a lot of them have just been passes that usually go for maybe 10 yards, but Chase is so fast he turns them into huge gainers. He is unbelievable.
That McPherson isn’t just a good kicker. He’s a straight up offensive weapon. Cincinnati can thank him as much or more as anyone for that win.

I’m only 32, but I was born at the very tail end of the 80’s. I grew up through the 90’s and 2000’s which was rough, but I never gave up on my Bengals. Now here we are, about to play for the super bowl. It’s so incredible, I never thought I’d see the day. Obviously it’s something that every fan hopes for, but with the bengals, not really something I expected.

He had possession of the ball before it hit the ground or else the ball more than likely would have bounced out of his hand because you can clearly see when the ball touches the ground it didn't move at all, people need to learn the rules its ok if it touches the ground as long as you have possession of it, also there wasn't enough clear proof to overturn the original call.

That was a heck of the game. Respect to both teams as a Seahawks fan, and big respect for the cool composure of McPherson, and Burrow still getting it down the field despite the monster number of sacks he took.

Joe Burrow once again stepped on the field and played like a seasoned veteran. He’s played in big games at LSU, and it has really paid off for him and the Bengals. But how this defense showing Tannehill different looks that translate into 3 key takeaways in this game. Great win by the Bengals
The only thing he has to improve is taking sacks when he’s in field goal range. He’s gotta just throw the ball away and take the 3 points sometimes he tries to slip out of a tackle and it ends up costing them a huge sack. But I understand his o line is really bad
Wrong. He took 9 sacks. 5 from just standing there. He does that next week they will get destroyed. Ryan Tannehill wont save them next week. Joe B was average at best today.

As a lifetime Titans fan, I’m sure the world would agree that Tannehill and Downing blew that game. Our defense played lights out considering the offense we were against and holding them to FGs. Tannehill looked like a rookie out there, not reading the defense or taking what they game him. He literally had the Bengals right where we wanted them with 2 minutes left. Just take the check down throws/ FIRSKER was WIDE OPEN. It’s glaring to show what the Titans are missing and it’s a QB and OC without a doubt! They have all the pieces needed to win a Super Bowl. The Titans need a QB. I like Tannehill and am happy to see his resurgence with the TItans. But let's face it: this is probably the ceiling for him and the rest of the team is ready. You sacked Burrow 55 thousand times and he STILL dragged the Bengals to the win. Somehow I don't see Tannehill doing that.
I would say OC should be the one leaving and keep my QB, different and better play calls and those 3 picks would have been points instead of turnovers.
Looking back at this game it really previewed the 2nd Half of the SB for the OLine. They were outstanding the 1st Half only giving up 1 sack then for some reason in the 2nd Half the Rams started stunting and 99 took over

A ton of things had to break the right way for the Bengals to pull this off. Shutting down Henry, picking off Tannehill on repeat, and man oh man the field goals. Also, Burrow is a legitimate beast for getting knocked around all game and still balling out.
Yeah but I thought Tennessee got lucky with that 3rd quarter int. The ball was dragging across the turf as he was catching the ball. Think that should have been an incomplete pass.

One of the biggest plays of this game was Vrabel electing to go for 2 points after the Cincy penalty and not getting it. Would have meant a Titans victory if he kicked the extra point
