Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was an important leader in India a long time ago. He was born on October 31, 1875, in a place called Nadiad in Gujarat, India. Patel did many things to help India become independent from British rule. He worked closely with another famous leader named Mahatma Gandhi. Patel helped organize protests and campaigns against the British rulers. One big thing he did was to convince many small kingdoms in India to join together to form one big country after independence. This was very important because it kept India united.
After India became independent in 1947, Patel became the first Deputy Prime Minister and the Home Minister of the country. He helped make laws and rules for the new India. Patel was also known for his big efforts in uniting people from different regions and backgrounds in India. He wanted everyone to work together as one nation.
There is a very big statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in India. It's called the Statue of Unity. This statue is the tallest in the world! It's 182 meters tall. The statue was made to honor Patel's work in bringing people together in India. It was opened to the public on October 31, 2018, which would have been Patel's birthday. The statue is in the state of Gujarat, where Patel was from. It's a very popular tourist spot now and shows how much people respect and remember Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for his contributions to India

The cost of constructing the Statue of Unity was Rs. 3,000 crores (USD $400-450 million). This magnificent statue was constructed using 70,000 tonnes of cement, 25,000 tonnes of steel, and 12,000 bronze panels, each weighing over 1700 tonnes.

LoL ...its f*cking amusing that they don't know about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Kudos to their History books !!! I just want to know what crap pre-partition history they study in their history books. In our syllabus we even study the person who coined the term 'Pakistan' 😂😂
