- Christmas and the holidays are over and while it's sad, it's a great time to deep clean the house. Grab your vacuum and join me as I take down the tree, pack up the decorations and give everything a good dust.

Clean with me and hopefully this will motivate you to put everything away, declutter and get it all ready for next year. This cleaning routine clears the space and when it's all done it feels so open. I'm ready for the new year to start.

I leave my decorations out until Valentine's Day... no celebration stops until the next one begins. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!!
I ziplock bag all of my dish towels, table clothes, napkins, placemats and aprons which I store with my holiday decorations. They never smell bad and are ready to use. I also bag any paper products that are leftover such as paper plates, napkins and cups for the next year. I do this for all the holidays. I also have a tub just for our Christmas and fall clothes. I pack them together along with the 2 decorations I use on my desk at work.
But, but, but - 12 days of Christmas! ☹ Decorations should stay up until January 5th.

What do you use to keep your rug from sliding?
I don't use anything. It it's pretty heavy so it doesn't slide easily
