Away atm for our son’s wedding. Couldn’t sleep so came on to watch a you tube video decided on yours. You’ve now made me plan ahead when we get home to tackle the under stairs storage area I’ve been putting off. Who knew this weekend that not only would we see an beautiful wedding full of happiness but I’d be inspired to decluttering when I get home which will bring me more happiness.

When you have home depot mix the paint ask them to print an extra label. Then you can sharpy mark where that color was used and keep it instead of the paint when it's time to toss.

Isn't it amazing how so many paint cans and scraps of sandpaper that can accumulate?!! We cleaned out our "paint" last year and gained so much room! Good job decluttering...have a great day!

They can accumulate fast! It's a good thing I decluttered because our fridge just died and so we decided to purchase a small fridge to keep in that exact spot. Now I just have to find a different place for all the stuff I just organized!

Looks so good Ali! I need to declutter my paint cans too. I know they sell small paint cans at Home Depot for storing small amounts of leftover paint, but since I will be repainting the basement in coastal colors, I will take your lead and just get rid of the old stuff. I always open the cans and let the paint harden before disposing of it.
Thanks for the inspiration! Today my son, his girlfriend and I are volunteering at a pet rescue to do some deep cleaning and organizing. It's going to be a lot of work, but hopefully we can make a big difference for them!
