Looking at this, who is it that decided Doom's move-set? Not that I dislike it, but considering the character it just seems pretty...generic? Then again, Doom's not much a fighter, but the guy's like Doctor Strange minus the kung fu, with a PhD in every study needed in rocket science. There's got to be more to him than dive kicks and lightning blasts, right? I doubt it'll be in MvC Infinite, but it'd be pretty amazing if Iron Doom is in it sometime in the future.
Characters die way too easily in this game. The difference between Justin Wong's Akuma comeback videos and this is that whereas you never know when Akuma is going to turn things around and make an epic comeback, Doom's comebacks are predictable and boring. Grab, do combo for Cage, and win. To me, he never should have had the ability to relaunch more than once, and Electric Cage does way too much damage for its own good.
The game is balanced around it though. Doom actually has to earn those opportunities. He has high damage because he's kind of slow and predictable. Do you have any idea how common it is to hear "This is a bad matchup for Dr. Doom"? If he couldn't one-touch kill he'd have no hope of making comebacks.
Doom is def the most badass character in Marvel.

his moveset has been very similar in all the vs games, I suppose its couse his fighting style isnt all that flashy is the comics
