Bonsai transformation Bending bonsai branches to make mini bonsai

This shimpaku juniper had long leggy growth so I needed to heavy bend the branches to create a smaller tree and mini bonsai for it. I show you how I heavy wire and bend the branches to make this shape and everyone can do this by using the right size wire and making sure the space between the wire coils is short. Then it is just a matter of using your imagination to create the shape you want.

Not bad for a beginner now try a big piece of Yamadori. Bend a giant branch without breaking it then I’ll be impressed
