I love this.
Gavin Munro, I can't imagine how you managed to begin these chairs in the first place! You have to be able to "see" upside down, reverse the entire chair structure while dealing with the upright, natural growth pattern of the tree. I have vertigo and it causes my head to swim, which makes this artistic convolution even more unimaginable.
I'm so happy to see such work. I'm also an artist AND an environmentalist which puts me at isometrics with myself. I see value in the tree as well as the creation of the useful and artistic chair.
Thank you for posting this video. I hope you'll keep it up a long time as I want to view it at length. I'm sure it's easy to miss a convolution here and a "twisty-thing" there. The chairs have a humorous quality as well as smooth beauty. :0) Donna B.

thumbs up
Now that's something I can plant my butts down on.
How many butts do you have?
What plant is it?
They said willow in the video
Keren

For 6 grand a chair that's hobbits☺

@@paulcarolan8646 If too expensive, grow your own...
rookies. splice the genes using CSIPR :D
Coming generations will have mother-of-pearl chests of drawers grown in one piece inside a huge fishtank by the wonders of applied genetics and tissue engineering.
Welp instead of cutting trees
We could just bent them :D
=))
*A ridiculous waste of time and*
*(definitely) money imo.* 🤷🏼♀️
It’s not your time and money so why do you care?
