I definitely saw the dragon. I just got into Bonsai a few months ago now I have 8 trees and 14 pre-bonsai. I will check this place out when I motorbike the country
Woooo! What an epic adventure. I hope you have a great time
I want to mention that shari is a part without bark at the trunk. Dead branches without bark are called jin😉
My favorite is 3 trunk Japanese maple named Koryo. I last visited Koryo in 2017. It is a wonderful opportunity to film in the museum. Thank you for sharing omiya bonsai☆彡

Fantastic you have visited - I have been doing bonsai since I was 13 and have been studying the art form in Japan. Omiya and the bonsai museum is such a cool place to visit.. been there many times..and many people visiting Tokyo do not know about it.. and it is just a 45 min train ride from Shinjuku! Soooo Beautiful 💤☝🖐🙏⭐💫💥🐣🦭atsuuup 👍
❤❤❤❤❤👍
I wish to see this village up close. Also I hoped to see the 1000 year old tree. What happened? They didn’t let you take photos of it? Why some of the garden’s didn’t allow photography?
Because the mantis cave is also considered a highly religious shrine, they did not allow photography of it out of respect to the shugendo religion so I wanted to respect that. Definitely recommend seeing it for yourself though!
The spruce at 6:25 in the background behind her. It is named "Todoroki", and is estimated to be 1000 years old!
thanks for sharing ! @@beniboyer2
The starbucks waste is not cool. The trees are fantastic😊
wow very beautiful every Japanese bonsai I am from Pakistan 🇵🇰 and I love a bonsai work but the Bonsai work is not famous in Pakistan so I can't do this work in here we are very sad 😒
How cool that you love Bonsai and are from Pakistan! That is so unique and amazing, I love it! Keep practicing, and dont give up on what you love!
I just come here for the pretty lady
1000 year old tree?
1000 years old!!!! Isnt it insane?
we didnt get to see it@@emmaterra
hopefully someday 🥰@@MrNormart
God you are so beautiful❤..
Thank you you are so sweet!
With all due respect, the two large trees seen at the 1:54 and 1:55 marks are AI generated and were called out as such last year when the images were on Facebook.
I wish I had known that before using those images in this video. Its so hard to tell these days whats AI generated or not - eeee! 😮💨
@@emmaterra It often does take a bit of study to tell. Those of us with long experience with bonsai see something slightly off, but we can't always pinpoint it until we've really looked at the picture for a while. And feedback from others is always helpful. BTW, thank-you for the video. :)
@@magiminiland1140 I really appreciate your feedback! thank you for watching :)
Do you have bonsai
I have two bonsai at home, one is an african olive, the other is a ficus retusa. What about you??
what a wonderful museum!!! I congratulate you
It was so beautiful!
Cannot believe people call the art of Bonsai "plant abuse"
I agree....they simply havnt been educated on the true art of Bonsai I think!
Haha yes have had that on a video I uploaded😂
ill check it out ! @@thetreestyler
Unfortunate use of AI images for what is a beautifully historical subject. An easy tell is branches literally floating in the picture!
Im glad i know this now ☺️☺️
This is cool, but why use AI photos?
Where were AI photos used?
The images around 1:54 are ai
I used these photos not realizing they were AI , how can you tell if a photo is AI?
@@emmaterraI'm terribly sorry for the super late reply. I didn't mean to be accusatory, it'll be a problem we face with increasing frequency in the years to come. In this case, it can be hard at first glance, but the main reason I could tell is because the bonsai in the photos defy most if not all bonsai conventions and, well, a lot of the leaves/branches aren't even connected to the tree and are floating in the air 😅 further still, if for example you look at the big tree, the one with the guy looking at it, the dirt doesn't seem to have anywhere to go in the table, it just doesn't make any logical sense, and a lot of its foliage is just floating in the air.
Bonsai not Bonsai’s, Deer not Deers.
Noted!
Too much wide open mute.
