California Fall Fling - All Chrysler, Dodge, Mopar Show!

- I attended the Fall Fling Chrysler , Dodge, Mopar show yesterday in sunny Van Nuys, California. The turnout was fantastic. I was able to video these amazing classic cars as they rolled into the park. Many iconic models showed up, including the Dodge Challenger, Charger, Cuda , Dart , Valiant , Satellite, GTX , and Super Bird and more.

Well those are some great cars. Mopar really brings them in as far as views. Methane look how beautiful the lines are on their muscle cars.

Dang, you faked me out. When you were walking to the Polara, I thought it was the white one you were going to look at. I have a 64 four door Polara 440 given to me about 6 miles down the road. I still haven't picked it up yet. Was that white one a Polara too? I'm not big enough into Dodge's to know the particulars. What a line up for today. No rusty old tractors though....LOL. Your question is really interesting because with all the excitement of shooting this video I completely missed that white car. @@gaspumprob My Polara is a 440 body style. The Polaris is a bit fancier of a package. This one I think has the slant 6 in it. But its a one owner at least, even IF its a 4 door. Kinda rough and a little body cancer...but ya can't beat the price !!

It's sad to see that Dodge is discontinuing the Charger and the Challenger at the end of this year. 😢😢

Stellantis, which now owns Dodge, was forced to buy expensive "carbon credits" from companies like Tesla to make the Charger and Challenger, because the gas mileage on these cars wasn't as good as the government wants.
So you can thank the EPA and the politicians for making it too expensive for Dodge to continue making these great cars.
I had a feeling something like that was the case after you mentioned this. Everything is changing for the worse and it’s pretty irritating. Here in California after the first of the year we won’t be able to purchase gas powered lawnmowers , chain saws, leaf blowers etc. Anything sold has to be electric or battery powered. 😩😩😩🥲🥲🥲
@ GASPUMPROB-- Maybe Dodge will make a battery powered Charger and Challenger in the future, but it just won't be the same.😢😢
I have used both gas and electric lawn mowers, chain saws, and leaf blowers, and I have found the gas powered ones to be much more powerful. When I bought my house here in Maryland, the previous owner left a electric lawn mower here in the shed. I used it for most of the first summer that I was here, but I hated dealing with a 100 foot extension cord, so I bought a gas powered lawn mower, and I am very happy with it.
Maryland's governor Wes Moore now wants to ban the sale of new ICE vehicles by 2035, the same as California's governor Gavin Newsom. I hate it when the government is trying to force everyone to eventually buy an EV. EV's are not nearly as environmentally friendly as some people think they are. Also the charging infrastructure still has a very long way to go, especially on long trips.
@@franknew9001 I agree 100 percent with gas powered equipment having much better power than electric. Also it is sad they are trying to force us to go electric even though the infrastructure can’t handle charging all those units especially in the summer months when the electric company encourages us to not use air conditioners during peak hours!
