    Great but maybe you can use a plastic or wooden tool to press the piston rings inside the cylinders...

    installing the big bore kit (80mm) i dont see any bevel or step on the rings?

    Great video, but why not push in the piston rings in the cylinder before fixing the pistons to the crank.. much easier,

      I'll give that a go next time. I was worried I would drop the gudgeon pin clip into the engine, doing it that way.

    Hi Brodie, i don't remember that i use a riveted chain link those days (1982 something). Perhaps is was a link with a c-clip ?

    Hey mate how come you’re using rubber back washers on the rocker cover studs? Just curious as my parts manual says just plain washers. TA

      They are the original ones. Just me being cheap.

    Your barrels would go on smoothly but they were catching on the oil pipe banjo.

      I know, but I didn't have one and we were in lockdown at the time so I just worked with what I had.

      @@2wheelworkshop I mean you just had to unscrew it. I had that problem but when trying to get barrels off... casing was catching on the banjo and it took me 5 minutes to realise :D

      Yamabond is the most commonly used.
