    He passed away right after the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, as if that was truly his life destiny.

    Chris Kraft was not the flight director for Apollo. He had ceded that role to younger flight directors by the time of the moon landings.

    But he was responsible for creating Mission Control and the mission rules upon which they would operate during Apollo, one of which was the absolute autonomy of the flight director. During Apollo 13 emergency, Flight Director Gene Krantz recalled he, Kraft and Gilruth I think bantering about what to do, and Krantz just said “thank you gentlemen”, and he decided, leaving Krantz to linger, then leave, since he had written the rule that the flight directors decision is final.

    That guy ruined it when he said africans..............I bet he wants to change history and say that africans landed on the moon.............invented and built all of it.
