- Easy Chocolate Ice Cream Bars Recipe ! How to make ice cream bars with just 3 basic ingredients!

Chocolate ice cream bars , makes 6-8 servings :
- 500g Heavy Cream ( 2 cups + 2 tbsp)
- 350g (12.5 ounces) Sweetened Condensed Milk OR 150g Fine Sugar (3/4 cup)
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1/8 tsp Salt
PLEASE READ: DO NOT cut the condensed milk/sugar! For best results use cream and condensed milk. You can substitute the cream for whole milk but as mentioned in the video, these won't have a creamsicle texture and flavor. If you're using the no mold method, line the bottom of your tray with parchment paper and cover well before putting the tray in the freezer. Enjoy!
Chocolate Shell:
- 300 gr Sweetened Chocolate ( 11 ounces)
- 3 tbsp Coconut Oil
- Chopped Salted Peanuts ( Optional )

These won't be unhealthy if eaten occasionally in moderation. I know, hard to do! The ingredients are high quality and apart from the condensed milk, there's little sugar, assuming the chocolate is European plain. The problem in the USA and in some other countries, mine included, is the huge portion sizes in the mass market and a food culture of poorer quality highly processed ersatz ingredients and insanely high sugar content. These are much more sophisticated.

tip: you can reduce milk for a while over the stove so some of the water evaporates and becomes thicker/creamier :)

Well, low heat, not too high. Would probably be OK to scald it, but lower to reduce it is longer but less risk of burning it.

As someone without a conventional oven, I really appreciate all these recipes that don't require one.
There's a lot of things you can do with a toaster oven.
I don't have that either. My family only has a microwave oven.

I used crushed almonds and some lightly toasted coconut on mine. Absolutely scrumptious!
The first time I tried these I didn't have an ice cream.mold or pan so they came out like pancake creamsicles lol. The taste was there but not the shape. I tried making it again and had gotten creamsicles molds and they turned out perfect! My husband said they are the best creamsicles he has ever had and wants me to.keep.making them, thanks Emma!
