Acupuncture on a cat: cat comfortable and interested in his acupuncture!

Brief video showing my cat part way through his second acupuncture session. Nobody seems to believe that he is quite happy with the needles in, so here's the proof :)
He's undergoing holistic treatment for Chronic Kidney Disease (Kidney failure). Acupuncture, infra-red and herbal remedies.

Note: I'm not an acupuncturist. My cat is going through treatment, so I'm keen to share the experience with others who maybe considering acupuncture for their cat. This is a deliberately brief video to just show that he's comfortable with the process, to hopefully inform others.

Thanks PippyPets, I think the environment helps. The acupuncturist and herbist I see with him has a converted barn that looks like a home, so he feels very relaxed with her. He even laps up the herbs she gives him, which are disolved in alcohol so have a very strong smell. Not sure I could recommend acupuncture for your birds though!

Artexic Hahaha! True - they probably wouldn’t be the biggest fans, hahaha. That’s wonderful he take to the treatment well. For me, that’s always a concern when I have an ill animal - how will they react to the treatment.

Yes, he didn't need to get used to it. Cats don't have fear of needles we do! Done in a room that looked like a home, he had no reason to fear!
I recommend for anyone whose pet has no clear western cure
