- I'm fairly certain this is the FIRST Megaton Rainfall modding video out there.
A quick test of Megaton Rainfall's newly added mod support. This mod removes the restriction imposed on you, forcing you to keep track of casualties. This mod also unlocks all powers (including the ability to spawn UFO Nuke Explosions).
As you can tell from the textures popping in and out, the game wasn't designed to be played after significant destruction. However, in the future, modders may be able to ameliorate the issues present in this video. The potential is limitless when it comes to this.

Due to the fact that the mod had not been downloaded over a period of 100 days, it was deleted from the server I was hosting it on. I have since lost my original copies of the mod. However, another mod that does the exact same thing is listed down below. The author of the second version is "HAL 9000" on Steam, who released it shortly after I released my own.

This game needs a mod to fill all the empty space parts with villains Also be cool to vs beings (such as your characters) that can kill you. A color option for your character would be nice to be like a red or blue to look like dr manhattan ,etc. This game has so much more potential regardless of it already being amazing with some small additions. Think Kerbal Space Program ((vanilla)) compared to the excellent mod support.
I'm pretty sure there's literally no way for the character to 'die'. The only 'health bar' is the gauge that goes down the more people that die.

First! Important Information is as follows:
Download link in the description.
Move the .fcm file to your Assets folder. (C:/.../Steam/SteamApps/common/Megaton Rainfall/Assets).
To activate the nuclear explosion, press the H key on your keyboard.
To reset the map, press F5 on your keyboard.

In a couple of years this will maybe Run on right now last gen grafics. Oh boy, i see a VR life will may happen in the next 20 to 30 years.
I don't think it will even take that long. When VR headsets can get to a little over twice 4k pixels per eye, thats when even humans with the best eyes can no longer see the pixels (at least in a headset) and the skies the limit for graphics as long as the GPUs can power it. Were talking about 4-5 times the power of a 1080ti. I think they will be at that level in 10 years max.

I downloaded the files and put them in assets but I still cant find the "user content" option. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. is it because the files are on notepad?
If you are using a cracked version or have not updated the game, there will be no User Content option in the main menu.
Vardens I just got the game on steam yesterday though
I'm not sure how to help if the User Content option isn't showing up. Try right clicking Megaton Rainfall in your library and validating the contents

I got it to work but it keeps crashing everytime I shoot
Make sure you have the most recent update. The initial modding support update broke the game by crashing whenever buildings were touched until a hotfix was released
Does this work for vr?
I moved the .fcm file into the games asset files through steam and the mod doesnt work
go to this pc>in the search bar type megaton>open the megaton rainfall folder>open the assets folder>move freeroam.fcm file into it>open Megaton Rainfall>go to user content it should be there. It worked for me :)

Why has no one made more mods I mean one guy or a group of people made a form on how to mod this and everything as long as you have good scripting skills, they said you can mod this game almost any way you like, like 3rd person mode or a racing game, or someone could make dragon ball z so what gives why are modders not all over this game I mean it's not time wasted, you won't have to update the mods every week or something cause the devs don't update the game that much at all I mean it toke a year to finally get an update so why no mods, this game is amazing, had a good community but since there's lack of stuff to do besides destroying cities and explore the universe, someone could make a mod that adds life to almost all planets or makes it so we can spawn aliens at any time we want in free roam mode, I just don't understand why this game isn't being moded out the ass, there should be star wars, halo, dragon ball Z, mods by now but we got nothing but a cool free roam and villian mod. I know if you want it so bad do it yourself, well I'm not a modder or coder or anything like that and I don't have the skills to make mods or the patience to learn this stuff, it's just not my cup of tea, just something I can't handle and yes I've tried before to learn how to mod, script and even make games but I couldn't do it, anyways point is can we get someone who loves this game and can mod to try to make some mods? I know it's not their job to make content for this game but I just don't want this game to just sit there with all that potential and go to waste.

In here u have cities with tall buildings and so on but in mine there's not a single city that has it.
