I played this song hundreds of times on my guitar after my wife divorced me. Over and over and over again. It was very therapeutic. The POWER OF MUSIC! Thank you Eric Clapton!!!
I was a teenager when this song came out. I must have have played the album until it wore out. Now I’m 64. And Clapton still sounds AWESOME. Thank you EC!
Everyone points to Layla as the showstopper off the album, but this is the track that still reduces me to tears. This performance especially. An emotionally-devestating song.
Bell bottom blues, you made me cry I don't want to lose this feeling And if I could choose a place to die It would be in your arms Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you? Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back? I'd gladly do it because I don't want to fade away Give me one more day, please I don't want to fade away In your heart I want to stay It's all wrong, but it's all right The way that you treat me baby Once I was strong but I lost the fight You won't find a better loser Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you? Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back? I'd gladly do it because I don't want to fade away Give me one more day, please I don't want to fade away In your heart I want to stay Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you? Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back? I'd gladly do it 'cause I don't want to fade away Give me one more day, please I don't want to fade away In your heart I want to stay Bell bottom blues, don't say goodbye I'm sure we're gonna meet again And if we do, don't you be surprised If you find me with another lover Do you want to see me crawl across the floor to you? Do you want to hear me beg you to take me back? I'd gladly do it 'cause I don't want to fade away Give me one more day, please I don't want to fade away In your heart I want to stay I don't want to fade away Give me one more day please I don't want to fade away In your heart I want to stay I don't want to fade away Give me one more day please I don't want to fade away In your heart I want to stay
Good evening Eric🧡🧡🧡 Every time I hear "Bell Bottom Blues", it makes me sad and painful. But I love this moment and I love this song. Eric's voice and delicate guitar tone... it really draws me in. I want to spend the night / the whole day listening to your songs.
Wow Nathan is the one playing so melodic & smooth. Damn he plays a better solo on the bass than Clapton does on the guitar - He overshadows Eric. Alas, but Eric's vocals gives me goosebumps & brings the tears everytime. A Living legend - God Bless you EC
Eric still sounds the same now as he did in the 70s! This is one of the greatest love songs ever, and you can truly hear Eric's heart poured into the song! He can write one heck of a song!
Sad to admit this but this is my 2nd favorite Clapton song. River of Tears is my number 1 all time favorite from the many gteat songs he's done. But I do love this song very much! Thst bluesy sound he has is such an emotional feeling.
1970 when I bought derek and the dominos, this was one of my favorite songs, and across the ups and downs of a lifetime it has remained so ! the ability of E.C. to cover his own songs in so many different ways , just shows his depth as a true Guitar Master ,and surely the body of his music will never fade away ...Thanks E.C.
This song is all about passion. Passion for love and life. ERIC. does a tremendous job of this . I get such an uplift hearing this. Especially knowing some of the pain he has been through
I last saw him live when he had Derek Trucks in the lineup a few years back. they played a lot of Domino's stuff and it was great. But this lineup here, any band with Steve Gadd and Preston is just amazing. We'll miss him when he hangs it up.
I've been listening to this song for the past 54 years. I saw EC perform it all electric, similar to the LP. This acoustic version, with this stellar band is far and away the best version of Bell Bottom Blues.
boy I am so glad I got to see him at largo md in the 80s willy nelson opened, at 60 all my great songs are so old, give me one more for the road, thanks for a life time of great songs
Yes , this was from one more car one more rider show, I was lucky enought to see his show in Houston,Tx in 2006. Exellent show supurb band. Billy Preston you are very missed RIP!!!!!!
All time Fav. This brings out so much emotion I just can't explain. Who hasn't been in the place he is singing about. Keep it up E.C. You move me to no end.
I'd gladly do it....I don't want to fade--in ur heart I want to stay... I have seen EC twice-both times in Raleigh, NC Dean Dome and NCState, no one is better than Eric Clapton....no one alive! I
Whatever am I going to do when Eric gives up playing completely or even dies? He has already said his health is now no great shakes. I grew with his music (I even had the privilege of seeing Derek and the Dominos live at college) but I get the feeling it is all coming to an end.
It's a unfortunate fact but the musicians we grew up with are getting older, just like we are. The last 12 - 18 months has proven this. Many never made it this far.
dinbrew, thanks for the line-up card. What sweet, beautiful music. It puts the garbage of the last 25 years in pop music to shame. Boy these guys are good, what a well-oiled machine of sweet music. Yet another classic inspired by that goddess Pattie Boyd Harrison.
Ah, what a beautiful song, lyrics written by one of the best guitarists on the planet, and still going strong. The acoustic guitars in this performance are incredible. Love EC and love Mark Knopfler for writing this classic tune with him. Thank You.
if it's un-plugged rockers it had almost better be an Eric Clapton show and his Vocals have developed so much depth of soul and pure anguish the emotion only comes from one who knows the Blues from real-life situations. some have been hurt deeply but only they can express that depth God Bless you, man. We love Eric Patrick Clapton
“Bell bottom blues, you make me cry, I don't want to lose these feeling. If I could choose a place to die, It would be in your arms.” I can think of no other words to express your love for some one. I believed that the first time I heard it in 1970, and even more so now.
I heard this song for the first time yesterday... and it just blew my mind! It is such an amazing song, really! It stirs up so much emotions and I absolutely love it!
Pure Magic!! "Do you wanna see me crawl across the floor to you, I'd gladly do it" - doesn't get more visceral than this
I played this song hundreds of times on my guitar after my wife divorced me. Over and over and over again. It was very therapeutic. The POWER OF MUSIC! Thank you Eric Clapton!!!

Those jeans👖 he got for Pattie when he came to America!💙. Love it.
How can you have 77 thumbs down ? If you don’t like the song or Clapton, why did you watch the video?
The whole world should listen to this.
Even now I'm not tiring listening his song. March 26 2021
Written for Patti Boyd Harrison. His best friend's wife. She became his wife, too. Sometimes wishes become a nightmare.
His best friend George...

Oh my! A piece of my heart belongs to Eric!
Makes my eyes water every time, love it!
Goosebumps all over my flesh. Real music, raw emotion. Awesome!
It took him 40 years to give Bobby Whitlock credit for co-writing this song. He did, however, do the right thing and compensated Bobby.
Killer cover, the best! 🔥
This song is one of my very favorites. I even have it in my head when I wake up in the morning sometimes. lol :)
