These people are real! You don't know how many times I've been held up in a line because some hipster with Elvis Costello glasses and summertime wool hat is asking 500 questions about which Ecuadorian fair trade field the coffee beans are grown in.

Was on a tour once in Portland and the guy driving the van had an extremely annoying way of pressing the pedal and accelerating In a nauseating manner.
Towards the end when he was dropping off people at their locations a car blocked his path and he just stopped and waited for like 3 mins and gave an explanation on how he’s not going to use his horn 😂 everyone kept shouting for him to blow the horn so he could move!
He didn’t do it , he waited some more and then walks out and goes to talk to the guy..

This video shows how some people are now aware of the origin and the quality of their meal. Of course the main goal here is to make fun of an extreme behaviour, but also we can see that minds are changing, as the waitress is prepared to answer to questions about the chicken.

they visit the farm and both of them end up falling in love / being brainwashed by owner/cult leader Aliki. They both join Aliki's harem of wives and live in the farm for about five years. Aliki dies (after reminding the female character that she's a total b**ch) and the 'spell' wears off. They 'wake up' and go back to the restaurant. Their table is still there, waiting for them, and so is the waitress.

I have a friend who is actually allergic to it and I would never go through all the limits she does by voluntarily chose not to eat gluten which provides no health benefit. She can't even eat soy sauce because it has too much gluten.

Nobody 'owns' allergies! There are many disorders such as Ehlers Danlos where sufferers are encouraged not to consume gluten as it makes symptoms worse. I don't have Celiacs, but cutting out gluten lessened my joint pain, brain fog went, anxiety went down, my cognitive and neurological issues eased up. Had I not had gluten my entire life, I'm sure I'd be a lot healthier than I am now.
