Question for the pilot. What good is it that you use your call sign in the pattern with identifying what type of aircraft your are. I fly my TBM over your field wouldn't you want to know what type of traffic your are dealing with versus JUST tail numbers? I fly here in the NYC metro area, in and out of controlled and uncontrolled airspaces. I never recall anyone just using tail numbers to ID themselves. As a rule, fly as if you were dealing with Approach. Approach always asks what TYPE of aircr
