- While staying in Marseille, France, we took a day trip to Cassis, France. From there, we walked to Les Calanques National Park and hiked to a beautiful beach. Cassis was absolutely adorable and it was great to get back out into nature after a while of being in cities!

Kelsey....I could Smell that baguette nom nom nom....it's torture watching, haha. Courtney/Bryce and i live on the East coast where they have Publix...you can go in the morning when they open and get fresh baguettes and cuban bread. It may not be the same 'Atmo', but you can close you eyes and it smells the same : )

Wow I’m so happy I found your channel, I visited Cassis last summer, we drove from Gibraltar all the way up and stayed in Cassis, the hike up to the calanques was definitely worth it! Great video and great channel you have a new subscriber ❤️

Thank you!! Bryce’s parents gave us a GoPro for Christmas and we finally got to put it to use!! It was so much fun to be able to take it in the water!
How cool were the water shots!? That was our first time using a GoPro and we really like how it turned out!

looks good, in 1998 my Mom and I stopped by Cassis, but we did the beach right in town, looking at the walk challenges, even at that age Mom would not have made it down. Great part of France, although on a more recent trip Montpellier was fun with my wife and daughter.

Fun video and music! When you guys were swimming it really looked like some of the old reel to reels my dad has of us growing up. I always enjoy hiking more when someone else carries all my stuff! Looks like Bryce carried the towels, water, and food? :-) You guys get a lot done in a day! The airbnb looks super cute - do I see right that you have to step through the shower to get to the toilet? seems like it's been forever! glad you two are still doing so well and enjoying yourselves. major changes from vanlife, but I'm excited to see what's up next. must admit, it was nice to see both of your smiling faces again! safe travels my friends.

HELLO! It's great to hear from you guys. Good timing too because I am going to be hitting the road in my van in 3 days. I don't know how much internet I will be watching for a bit. That trip to the beach did look like it was a bit tricky getting down those steep parts. All that for such a short time. Oh well. The view from the balcony looks like a memory, wow. I really like how you guys say goodnight, it really hits my heart. My mom and dad and little brother would all say goodnight to each other before we went to sleep, so ya, it triggers some emotions there.
Oh yay!!! That’s so excited that you’re taking off soon!!! I hope you get internet so we can get some updates! It was overwhelming when we were thinking about shoving all of our stuff into the van, but it ended up being a lot of fun to try to find a spot for everything (at least for me haha) Best of luck with your adventure, we’re so excited for you!! Kaila we hope the recovery from the hurricane has been okay! We were affected by Hurricane Irma in Jacksonville last year
@@brycezinckgraf7664Thank you, I live in Tallahassee and so we were very lucky with the damages we sustained, the power was back up for most of the city within 6 days. No damage to my property itself luckily. Unfortunately the surrounding counties, Mexico beach, and Panama City, to name a few, were destroyed. It's a terrible site to see. No one thought Hurricane Michael would stay a cat 4 through south GA, a massive beast it was. I remember Irma, she was bad as well!

haha, that’s a fun nickname! The tomatoes were incredibly hard to keep in the sandwich! The water wasn’t too bad, but definitely chillier than I would have preferred! Thank you :)
Rewatching all your vids now :) we have been doing van life for about 2 months now! We plan on doing it through October. Currently in Sedona AZ. Been waiting for a Marseille video 👍🏻 My husband was in Nice in the 60’s when he was a Marine. He loved it! Maybe it was the Crazy Horse Bar he loved. LOL Will be anxious for that video. Do you have all your Airbnb’s reserved? Or as you go...
We will definitely be posting a Nice video! It must have been so cool to have seen it in the 60s! We have the airbnbs booked about two weeks in advance. So far that has been working for us!
How long was the hike to Calanque d'En-Vau? Was it easy enough to find?
Wow...i woulda paid just to pop a 3 person tent with a self inflating mattress on that patio for a week!! Great view and video. I grilled a couple pounds of 15 count shrimp last week a friend brought me back from 'Atlantic Seafood' in Jax.....They would have been Awesome on top of that delish salad you made Courtney : )

We could not believe the view! How fun! We know that place :) That would have been great on top of that salad! They sure do have great shrimp in Jax. He mostly tutors Physics and Chemistry to high school/early college students!
How great was that patio!? I started tutoring as a second job to save extra money for this adventure. It led to an opportunity with the same company to make instructional videos on common problems. So I make few videos each morning to pay for the AirBnB and then we go explore!
I know Several people that have done that (tutored) Bryce with Great results/income....That's Awesome!!

craig me I tutor primarily physics and chemistry at the high school and undergraduate college levels. I also make instructional videos explaining how to solve common problems. I make a few of these videos each morning and it pays for our AirBnB that night!

Plane to Champagne oh thanks, just watched it, I’m in love with south France, I was looking forward to do something similar driving from south Spain to south France, but this virus thing came! I’ll have to wait!
@@daca478 I feel your pain! I had a 2 week trip planned to Spain and Portugal that got cancelled. A big bummer, but what can you do? That sounds like an awesome trip though! If you ever need any recommendations for things in France, I'd be happy to help!
Plane to Champagne yeah nothing to do, but just wait patiently for this to change and hang around the house !, I’ll take your word, I’ve never been to providence France just the main city Paris ! What’s the best option for accommodations hotels or air bnb! For the little towns in the south?
Well, it depends what you’re looking for! The hotels are good if you want help planning activities or help along the way! Also a lot of them have pools which could be nice if you go when it’s warm. Airbnb can be great for groups and also if you don’t want to eat out every night. But you really can’t go wrong either way!

Here’s our 2 days in Southern France.
First day the bus to Cassis wasn’t running due to part of the road being damaged and the second day the entire park was closed due to “high winds” 🤦
Be honest. Marseilles is a shit hole and a waste of time.

Administratively speaking, the calanques are on the city of Marseille territory hence their name…..
There are 3 main Calanques in the area, just read about them today, the name refers to those ancient rivers
Cut the loud music out entirely. Extremely irritating to have it play incessantly so i can hear what you are saying some of the time. If you speak, then NO MUSIC EVER IN THE WHOLE VIDEO! Voice and music DO NOT MIX. GOLDEN RULE OF MAKING CZcams VIDEOS!!!!! Ruined the viewer experience completely and utterly.
