- This was my first trip to the south of France and after spending a day in Marseille, my friends and I headed to Cassis where you sat in the sunshine at the port, took boat trips out to the Calanques, and hiked through Parc national des Calanques or the Calanques National Park. We also visited the Cassis Market, walked the back streets of this Provencal town, and drank local wine while getting sunburn in February!

I've been hanging around about three years now and this is hands down the most beautiful place I've seen you go. Amazing views. Wow...
Thanks for sticking around! Hopefully many more beautiful places to show you this year!
Thank you! On the train from Paris to Marseille then Cassis and loved your videos and ideas! Eating, Sun and hiking are high on our list!
Thank you so much, your videos are fantastic! Really helpful in planning our first trip to the south of France!☺️
Growing up in the 70's in a town about 10 km away, my entire summers were spent on this beach and in our boat parked right in front of the beautiful restaurants where you were eating. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video.

Hi! Loving your travel videos! I want to make the trip to So France & was wondering how many nights/days do you recommend staying in Cassis & how many in Marseille?

Which hotel did you stay in Casis? Thank you for the information
What is the bus ride to the train like..... I get vertigo from heights...
We’re going to Cassis in a few weeks. Any suggestions on what restaurants to go for lunch?
I have a bunch of recommendations in my blog post here: www.eternal-expat.com/2022/03/24/things-to-do-in-cassis-france/
But my favorite was probably Monsieur Brun. Enjoy your trip, it's such a beautiful part of the coast!
!Hola! Found you while researching Todos Santos, MX. Funny, you're in my hood now, you should check out Bandol and Le Castellet Var (I was born in Toulon) but I digress ... También estamos buscando un pueblo donde no necesitemos un coche, cerca del mar, hay mercados, of course is affordable for digi nomads etc. Do you have such as "short list" Merci mille fois!
La Paz and San Jose del Cabo are great if still interested in Baja, otherwise Puerto Vallarta is another great option, Puerto escondido (although wifi can be hit or miss here it’s a beautiful part of the country).
@@laura-bronner awesome that sounds like a great list! Escondido was on our list this past road trip but we only made it as far as P.V. Thank you!
Beautiful! Laura, do you speak French?
No 😔I learned it way back in elementary school so can say the basics but it’s a language I’ve always loved and dreamed of learning!
in these, city is goode. Foods ? may be any griled sausagse ,with Potates oar may be grild graps .? thankse you foar goode,. Video 👍
I hope one day you will visit my home country Qatar perhaps during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in November :)
If you only had one port day in Marseilles, would you skip and go into Cassis instead?
That’s a really tough call. If you have a full day I would visit cassis by day for beaches and calanques and and evening/sunset at notre dame de la garde in Marseille.
I prefer reports made by people who actually know the places. :-)
👍👍👍🙂
An American (am I wrong?) who honors local cuisine, no pizza (it's Italian) and doesn't drink water or coke... as a Frenchman, I say a big THANK YOU.
You just have to ask.
Is Cassis good for English-only speaking tourists?
of course not cheap because its fresh food from the sea no frozen food no mc donald etc
We miss your Lithuanian videos 😓
Coming this evening 👍
